Over priced food was bland , steak was average. Flat bead was yummy. Salmon was ok . Small portions . Big priced place with... average food. Took 6 people to dinner spent over $500 on a price fix menu, maybe order 3 drinks. But food did not look like theprice tag. Went to prime the week before spent a little more same amount of people but we'll worth it. Will not go back . Theice cream sundae barely had ice cream . Staff was friendly, atmosphere was nice , tables belong in taco bell. They seem to focuson bar crowd as they can get $1 oysters but the table gets them for $4 . Read more

I've been here a few times and each time my experience is more extravagant. The food is amazing and the service is "white... glove". Derek and Danny are some of my favorite servers. They always provide great company. Definitely going to come back. Read more

My husband took me here for "date night" and it was so great, I brought colleagues for happy hour the following week. Menu... options are amazing. It is so difficult to find a raw bar, outside of overpriced/stuffy steak houses. The crab cocktail is myfavorite. My husband had a steak and we'd ordered a number of appetizers, really wonderful to snack on over cocktails. I can'twait to bring more family & friends here, a (somewhat) hidden gem! Read more

Disappointing facility and practices, amazing food. This is a tough review to write. The Vanderbilt is beautiful, an impressive... property just to pull up to ... There's a valet podium, but no valet (730 pm Friday and raining). No big deal, we self parkedand when we got to the front door, the valet was at the valet podium. Still not a big deal, but the guy didn't even look up fromhis cellphone as we walked in. That's not inattentive, that's just rude. This is a residence, he should have at least attemptedto get the door for us, but he didn't, and didn't even say hello. He was similarly inattentive as we left. The inside isbeautiful, and the cocktails were craft and delicious. The bartender was attentive and so was all staff. Entrees were a bitexotic and welcome, and all very good. The 18 percent ADMIN FEE was a bit of a surprise, however, for a party of 2. I realizedafter the fact that this was like the mandatory gratuity that you usually get with parties of 8+. The waiter was attentive andkind, but this seems a dishonest way to throw a fee in (line item read : Admin fee). The fee was just a line item, I think theyshould be a bit more upfront about it. I asked about it on the way out and the hostess indicates that it was a gratuity. Greatfood, but the valet and the hidden fee left me feeling unsatisfied. Read more

First time here and enjoyed a lovely dinner with my family. The menu was thin so do check it before deciding to dine. The photos... and reviews are what lured me here. I usually associate high end pricing and mediocre food at Hotel restaurants but this was adelight. While still pricey, it was indeed worth it. The restaurant shares a lobby with the hotel and apartment rentals here.Luxury living indeed. The restaurant did their best to accommodate my seating request which I'm very appreciative. Given thePandemic, I've been selective with indoor dining especially if the tables are too close together. This space had high ceilingsand a lovely ambiance. I would totally return to try the brunch as that menu looks really appetizing. This visit, the big hitwas the Spanish Branzino and the Lobster Spaghetti. Desserts were all great choices, think Meyer lemon custard, chocolate chipcookie in a skillet topped with ice cream and an adult version of a brownie sundae. May 2022. Read more

What a restaurant, truly a hidden gem in Long Island . Located inside The Vanderbilt Luxury Rental Apartment and Hotel Suites.... Walking In , we were greeted by the host and given a table of our choice. Food , we started with multiple different appetizerssuch as Lamb Ribs , Tuna Tartare , and Fava Bean Dip. I have never been a Tuna person , but the waiter convinced me to give it ashot . And oh boy, it was worth trying. All 3 appetizers were really good and different . On to the main course we ordered theDry Aged Tomahawk 42oz for two. It was huge , we were overwhelmed by the portions. Steak was cooked perfect to our liking.Finished off with the Vanilla Sundae , felt like we had to be carried out.
