No frills seafood tray and chicken joint. Decor and ambiance is non existent. Place is a bit run down looking but the food... tastes great. Workers were friendly and helpful. We got a lb of snow crab legs. It was cooked well and tasted good. Also got aplatter with jerk chicken and ribs with rice and peas and a side of macaroni salad. Everything was tasty and fresh. If you?regetting a seafood tray, call ahead as it?ll take a while to make but it was worth it to satisfy the craving. Read more
While I expected more with the decor of the place it was a bit lacking but not a problem. Do not look for an upscale... establishment or clientele, that's not here. I found it to be very clean throughout. Myself and a friend ordered the crab &shrimp which came with corn and potatoes with a side of catfish. While we enjoyed everything it was agreed that the catfish wasoutstanding. Overall the food was very tasty. Given what we had the price point was not bad. We went during the afternoon. Therewas no waiting as we and two others were the only ones there, although a few more followed shortly after. My only disappointmentwas in going to the bathroom. Always have handsoap available, there was none. It could have been something that was simplyoverlooked but is very important to have considering its a food service establishment. My first time was on Saturday. From the time we entered until we left, was a good experience. The owner greeted us with a warm... that has been lost. The food was more than enough and very enjoyable. I can't wait until my next visit. The trip from Brooklynwas well worth it!! Read more
