My sister and I went this morning after yoga for breakfast. She didn't have to give the older blonde/red headed server a tip do... to financial struggle but she did to be nice. Granted it was only a dollar but something is something. Well that dumb waiter hadthe audacity to give us attitude over it. Trying to make us feel bad that she only gets 3.50 an hour or whatever and how it wasalmost rude that my sister only gave her a dollar tip. I get her reason to be upset but to be rude towards customers over a tipis not professional at all. Do not go here if you want to be hassled over a tip. Read more
Really small restaurant, one of the pics is misleading. Staff is nice but place is ok if looking for quantity over quality.... Coffee was watery, pancakes tasted like bacon grease, bacon was overcooked. Scrambled eggs were nice. Also one thing thatbothers me a lot is when you go to a place with poor ventilation and your eyes start kinda burning bc of the smoke that goesnowhere and your clothes and hair smell like grease for the rest of the day. Breakfast here never disappoints. So delicious every time! Freshly cooked and quality and quantity is perfect. The French toast... stuffed with apples and cinnamon and whipped butter were a huge hit my son. And the bacon he said was so good! Colleen?s IrishBenedict with corn beef hash is my go to here. This was our first time here and probably our last. The cafe is small and cluttered with stuff. First impresion walking... through the door is this place needs a serious renovation. Our waitress was very pleasant and took our order quickly but ourfood was slow to come out. My wife said her eggs were cold and bacon was almost burnt. She did not like her coffee. I had thecorn beef hash, Kielbasa, and blueberry muffin. My muffin was very good, Kielbasa slightly burnt, and the hash was very smalland almost burnt but I liked it. Had sausage gravy over English muffins, corned beef hash, and home fries. Everything was delicious tasted fresh very filling. ... The service was prompt and courteous. If I wasn't so full now I would stop back again for lunch in another hour or so. Willmake this my go to stop whenever I'm in Westerly! Read more
