Can I give it a 10! We both had special dishes my wife a whole and I do mean whole fish and I scallops taco with Cajun spices... and a special slaw. Fantastic! Only one guffaw which was asking us if we wanted the check before we finished our meal. Nottypical,especially in Mexican culture but service was great otherwise yummy! Read more
Never am I disappointed with this outstanding establishment. Everything is ABSOLUTELY first rate. ALWAYS. The food is... delectable, and I have now tried everything. Had a great experience at Amigo's. We were seated by the host and our server was there promptly to take our drink order which... arrived quickly and they took out order at that time. We ordered the queso fundito dip with chorizo which took about 10 minutesto arrive and was delicious. It took about another 10- 15 minutes for our burritos to arrive. I ordered mine with al pastor andmy friend order tempura shrimp, both were very large and tasted amazing. We both thought the food was delicious and verygenerous portions for the price the service was also excellent. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others. Read more

Excellent food - my Tequila Chicken was awesome! The place is gorgeous and in a cool spot where all the shops and book stores... are - Canal Street. Beautiful Wilcox Park is 2 blocks away. A gem of an an area. Read more
