This bakery is top notch, with many beautiful and delicious cakes, breads, cookies, pastries, and other confections to choose... from. It was my first time here. I was picking up 2 pre-ordered birthday cakes; one was a 3-layered red velvet cake with creamcheese frosting and the other was a gorgeous 3-layered chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting inside and chocolatebuttercream whipped frosting on the outside! I am a baker, (not professionally taught, yet I love to bake for friends andfamily, and know my baked goods). Had a lovely experience here today! I got one of all their chocolate items, and a bunch of croissants. So, firstly, the... croissant. Holy cow. That is the butteriest, must delightfully light croissant I've had yet. Also- My cat enjoyed the croissantas well. She usually only takes KFC biscuits and scones, so I think this means croissants are on the list too now! Completelyunrelated, but I felt worth sharing. (note, it's a very rare treat for her to get these things usually) (Filled, plain,otherwise- All the flakey goods were great!) I also got a loaf of italian bread. This, this is a very hearty loaf! I absolutelyenjoyed it. Choco Items- Raspberry chocolate heart Mousse bomb Hostess cupcake PB chocolate cupcake I'll be honest and say no, Ididn't try them all today. Instead, I stole a nip from the PB cupcake and the mousse bomb. Mousse bomb first- So riiiiich. Thehard chocolate shell is fun to crack through to get at that mousse. Lemme repeat- Riiiiiich! This isn?t my 1st experience with Vesta and it won?t be my last. They recently made 2 pizza cakes for my sons 1st birthday and... both were amazing. 1 was chocolate cake with mocha buttercream. The other was an Italian rainbow cookie cake with raspberry jamfilling. Both were HUGE hits at his party. The last picture is just showing the insides. 5 stars! Read more
