This is the best BBQ I have ever had. If you like turkey, this place will ruin turkey for you. It is sooooooo good it will touch... your soul. The brisket is absolutely spectacular. The flavor is second to none. Falls apart if you try to pick it up. Ben, thisBBQ is food crack!! I cannot express my gratitude and support for a local eatery!! You ABSOLUTELY MUST check this place out. I would highly recommend ordering online ahead of time, that way you can guarantee you actually get some food! Ben's BBQ Shack is our favorite local carry-out, hands down! Our family has watched Ben grow this gem of a BBQ business right... here in Westfield, first located with another business, then opening his own shack, expanding days, hours.... and there is nobetter way for us to spend our dollars in our local community! We ordered ALL THE MEATS for a party last weekend and guestscouldn't stop raving. One friend was on the fence about joining, so I tempted him with "I've ordered a table full of Ben's....""WELL - in that case I'll see you at noon!" he said. PRE-ORDER ONLINE IF YOU CAN!!! If you can't, get there early. I promiseyou it's worth the wait. GET THE BRISKET (order extra, you're going to love it more than you think). Order a few pounds ofpulled pork. I can?t believe it took us so long to try Ben?s after driving by every day, but it?s immediately become a weekly lunch spot. The... brisket and pulled pork meet or beat any of the best Texas bbq spots we?ve tried, and Ben is one of the friendliest guys you?llever meet. We were bummed to not place a pickup order in advance but tried our luck at walk-up (he often sells out within anhour). And luckily for us, he had plenty. Great addition to Westfield. I got to try the Smoked Pork Belly Sandwich, something I haven't often seen on other BBQ Menus, and... it was great. Ben was also super personable, coming out to welcome and thank everyone for showing up. It looks like he's alreadygained some "regulars" and the line of people patiently waiting made it easy to understand why people order ahead. BEST RIBS I've had that Johnny didn't smoke. Ben is a very friendly character, he greeted us in the parking lot and threw in a... buttercream pie. MAKE SURE to order ahead. We didn't and got the last of the ribs for the day. Will return for sure! Read more
