Wow, that was impressive. The food was AMAZING with a perfect flavor combo with the Summer Salad and the orange dressing. Add... to that the blackened salmon with the coconut dressing/sauce; it was a "melt in your mouth" experience. Easily the best pieceof Salmon I've had in years! I'd like to take time and recognize chefs Scott and Tom. They deserve some serious respect forcrafting that meal!!! We were greeted by Leah, and she was everything you'd want in a first impression at your restaurant. Shewas courteous, and sincere, and she gave us clear instructions and expectations. Our server, Carter, was funny, kind, andgenuinely interested in making sure we had the best food choices, and she took extra care to make sure my wife had a deliciousmeal that was safe for her. We ate outside on the patio with our dog. Yes, they are dog-friendly outside, and we enjoyed abeautiful evening together with delicious food and great service. We will definitely be back! To the owners of Field Brewing,please take some time and recognize and honor the people in this review. They were delivering a superb level of service with agenuine heart. In talks with Carter, we jokingly thought that free meals, extra time off, paid vacations, and Huge raisesounded like a good start. :) In all seriousness, thank you for a great meal and for putting together such a great crew tocreate and serve it. Had lunch here for the first time. I was surprised how empty it was on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! Great service & the salmon... salad was great, but my husbands fries were soggy raw & I was charged $2 a refill on club soda (assuming it was on tap) &wasn’t told it was Perrier. Asked the server & she she didn’t take it off the bill (I drank a bunch as I biked here). Walkedaway with a hefty bill still hungry. Posted a pic of my $8 water ???????? Read more
This is one of my new favorite north-side spots. The $10 flights include five 5oz pours of your choice (such a good deal). Beer... and food was delicious. The pita nachos are incredible and a must-try if you enjoy Mediterranean. They had a wide range ofoptions for varying dietary needs. Our sever, Carter, was very helpful and informative. She made sure we were taken care of.Overall, I can’t recommend Field enough for a cute lunch date. Read more
After being seating we waited for at least 20 minutes for our server. I had to ask for a server and was then told he was busy... with a large table and a new server was going to take care of us. New server came by the table once to get our drink order andthe drinks took another very long period to arrive, they were brought by someone different. Kitchen cannot handle workload whenthere is a large party. We were a party of 2 and were told the kitchen wait was over 45+ minutes due to a single party. Thiswould have been really nice to know before we sat down. Place was not even half full. We ordered, but then decided the serviceand wait was not worth it. First time trying out Field Brewing and after hearing how great their food was from others, I was excited. My husband ordered... the bbq smashburger and a side of mac and cheese. He loved the bacon jam on his burger but said the mac and cheese could havebeen creamier. I had the BLT and a side of the brussel sprouts. The smoked bacon on the blt was good. I couldn't taste thebalsamic vinegreitte that was supposed to be on the blt. The sandwich was also hard to eat because the roll it's on is skinnyand the lettuce kept falling off. The brussel sprouts were dry. We both had the citrus ipa and it was good. We would haveordered another beer but our waitress brought us our bill a few minutes after we received the food so we felt rushed out thedoor. We also tried the orange tarragon cake which a friend of ours ordered. I will say it was excellent. Parking is a challengeas their lot holds about 5 cars and most of the street parking is on the other side of a very busy state highway. We do not planto go back any time soon. Read more
The food here was very good. The brussel sprouts app was simply amazing, best I've ever had probably. But I really felt the... beers fell flat. Literally, none had any carbonation or smell to speak of. I got a flight and didn't enjoy any of the beers.Ordered another (lager style) and it was just meh. In a very busy market of craft beers and breweries this is definitely not aplace I'd go to for beer again. Read more
