Margaritas and the food was great! We went during lunch and they were slow, but our server only checked on us once and she was... sitting over in a booth watching tv. We had to get the attention of other staff to get more chips, water, and our check. Read more
This was our first visit. It was a wonderful surprise entering as the restaurant is decorated elegant and the ambience is... wonderful for relaxing. They offer a great selection of tequila from both entry level to premium pours. The food was terrific. Iordered the Mar Y Tierra and was not disappointed. It is one of their specialty dishes. The steak, shrimp, and chicken werecooked perfectly and when combined with grilled cactus, jalapeño and onions the dish simply stands out on its own. The dish islarge enough for sharing. Great Mexican restaurant in Westfield. Servers were very friendly. Drink menu is vast and I had a freshly squeezed orange... margarita. Amazing. Queso was delicious and thick. The salsa is delicious paired with hot chips. My son had the steak quesadillawhich was fresh and good. I had the pollo a la creama that was a huge maybe 3 portion meal. Love this place. When it comes to Mexican food, we the people want "authentic" and there's no other place that represents this like Los Agaves.... To further that, the decor all comes from Mexico! But I know you're here for the food so lets get into it! The food that Laurahad the kitchen staff prepare for me was: mar de tierra three way fajitas tacos chips & guac/queso Paloma Margarita CazuelaMargarita Ummm ya...I sampled everything and the rating was a 10/10 on everything except the queso..the queso I gave a 9/10 butit was still great! The cool thing was they tasted even BETTER warmed up the next day so feel free to take food to go if youdon't finish because they have large portion sizes. Nov 2022. We had girls weekend in the area to enjoy Carmel Christkindlmarkt. The girls I was with, searched the web for... local restaurants that beat fit our needs. They chose Los Agaves. We couldn’t have asked for better service! Arriving at6 pm, we were quick to a table, server was prompt at our table. Drinks came within 2 minutes! After our order, within 5minutes, our food arrived.
