Richard's is my favorite grinder shop ever. They sell 3 different size grinders, 8", 12", and 16". The bread is always super... soft and fresh, and their meat is always super tender. Roast beef, corned beef, pastrami - very lean, tasty and easy to chew.And with locations in Westfield and West Springfield, they are easily accessible with handicap ?? parking in both locations,they are just the best! This place has the best baked ham, the best bread, the biggest grinders, and they're still half price compared to Subway. Then... to just ensure that this place is above and beyond any place else,, they have the best homemade gourmet cookies and brownies,and the cucumber ranch salad and all the salads in the refrigerator are homemade ,and so is the soup. Fantastic Grinders at a great price. You would think having hot grinders, but not toasting the bread in an oven would be a... downfall, but it's not. It's actually the best thing about their grinders. That bread is amazing. It's light, fluffy, yetfilling at the same time. The meatballs and sauce are so beyond good, it's scary. The staff is always quick and attentive, andyou just always feel welcome there. Fantastic place, and I find myself here 2-3 days a week for lunch. Read more
Twice a year I fly across the country for meetings in Westfield and we usually have Richard's Grinders for a catered lunch and... after every meeting they ask if we want something different next time and everybody says that they are very happy withRichard's.
