Tobiko Sushi is located at 110 Airport Road in Westfield, MA. The restaurant is actually located at Barnes Airport. This was my... first time here and my wife recommended it from her experience eating here. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is a baras well. It's a small restaurant but not tiny. The food was well prepared and tasty, and was brought to us in short time. Thefood pictured are, Kimchee Fried Rice, Hot and Spicy Ramen, Gyoza, Shrimp Tempura which also has fried onion rings anda fewfried vegetables, Shumai, and a Yellow Tail and Scallion roll and a Spicy Shrimp Roll. The best sushi place I?ve been to in a while. Nice and fresh fish. Also tried their Kani salad which was just super nice.!... Already came back a few times here. Nice view of airport where little planes land and take off. Read more
Amazing food, setting and a true gem. Not sure where else you can get high quality sushi AND legit K-food on an airstrip set... against a mountain backdrop. It was busy (a good thing) but service speedy and so nice. Plus the highest rating by my 12 and 8yr olds who are very discerning foodies. My 12yr old says, "I would say the korean and Japanese combo was certainly a flavorfulexperience, but I felt that there were many opportunities to perhaps enhance the menu with more sushi options like salmon roeand salmon skin maki, but I think that this is a minor concern and is otherwise a great restaurant." Tasty and flavorful dishes, sushi is fresh, good service with a helpful waitress even though it was busy she came around several... times asking if the food was to our liking. First pic is the teriyaki rice bowl with steak tips. I asked them to omit thebroccoli for more of the other veggies and they accommodated. Steak was tender and juicy! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! This was my second visit. The first one was early summer on... their outdoor deck with a really cool view of Barnes air runway. Hibachi noodles are on point and the special rolls are amazing! Read more
I had an amazing experience here. I ordered, the Rattlesnake Roll, Shrimp temporal role and the Miso Ramen Noodle. The food was... delicious, everything was flavorful. The Ramen and the Sushi hit the spot on the rainy day. Lastly their Green Tea Ice-cream wasa great way to end off. Very happy with food and with the service I received. Definitely will be back! Food is very good. We love the hibachi and ramen options. The sushi is quite good as well. The lunch special hibachi options are... nicely priced. Service is friendly and quick. After the food and service it has a third great hook - the view of an activeairport and Mount Tom from across the runway. You can catch all sorts of planes and helicopters taking off and landing.
