Great place for specialty sushi. The Latin roll is outstanding. We had Kenny as our waiter and he’s was just excellent!... Wonderful service and the food is great. Definitely recommend. Read more
One of the best dining experience. The ambience isn't fancy yet inviting. The hosts and servers were kind and friendly. I did... not have a reservation on Friday eve. They were busy, but the host maintained smile and did her best to sit us at the table inno time. Sushi and the soup were tasty and delightful. Thanks Akai for making my visit memorable. See you soon! Had the shrimp tempura roll and it was good. The staff was kind and attentive!
I went during their lunch hours and had a great meal! The roll ("NY Knicks Roll") was $14 and the sashimi platter was $16.50.... Considering the quality and taste these were great prices imo. The meal came with a small cup of miso as well. Service was verypolite. My only criticism is that the booths are very obviously worn out and should be repaired/replaced. Otherwise I'ddefinitely go again. Read more
