I went to this place and I loved the food. The Pepper tuna is this blue fin is fantastic. It?s nice pieces also, they don?t... skimp out. I also had the baby clamps with noodles and mushroom sauté. Fantastic! Then I had to sauté shrimp exquisitelydelicious. I also tried the lobster roll, again simply amazing. You might not think Hackettstown would be home to a great sushi and steak house, but you'd be wrong. The menu is amazing, you... can literally pick from over 50 different kinds of sushi rolls. We opted for a sushi platter and were not disappointed. The fishwas fresh and delicious. The owner even came by to check that everyone was happy with their meals. Looking forward to comingback. Loved Fujiyama for many many years, food was always great and sushi was delish. Ever since the pandemic we have been here many... times food & service has gone down in quality drastically. Tonight?s service was just terrible, salad is just lettuce anddressing, sushi was just Messy, got the entree before the appetizer and the bubble teas after eating our entree and half wayappetizers. no wonder this place is consistently packed... the sushi and sashimi were all fresh... we ordered the love boat for two... kani... salad... and seafood fried rice... the love boat didn't have a fancy presentation but pretty much makes up on the freshness ofeverything on it... the service is excellent as well... server is keeping us up to date on pending order... very attentive toour additional needs... i guess another ?? tag on the map... cheers! Don?t bother. Bad service, unclean environment even worse food. The sushi is stale, dry and boring like the ?fried? rice and... it?s frozen peas and carrots. Ugh. This place reminds me of a diner or a half off casino restaurant in a remote place thathappens to sale sushi. Service is dismissive, rushed and overall presentation disgraceful. The bus person held down everythingwhile the wait staff continued being rushed and dismissive or barely paid attention to their guest. Simply not worth the time ormoney. Go elsewhere. Read more
My family loves the hibachi at Fujiyama Mama. Service is good and the cooks always do a good job. We took friends there last... week and Ken impressed them with his cooking and entertaining skills. We've been there many times before and will certainly beback. Read more
