We had the white sangria, a mango salad, tempura cheese curds, soy garlic wings(half spicy, half not spicy), & we finished with... the chocolate cake. Everything was soooo good! You can tell careful thought was put into everything on the menu. The restaurantitself is beautiful. Its cozy & pristine without being stuffy or pretentious. Came here for Sunday lunch around 130pm. The entrance of the place has parking in front and to the side (railway station... parking). I had the loaded bowl (beef, egg, seaweed, tofu, rice, gochujang etc. It was filling and tasty. The fried chickensandwich comes in two flavors, soy garlic or spicy. It was huge. Stone bowl bibimap came in really hot and buttery (trufflebutter). While it was delicious, if you prefer something with a kick, I would opt for the loaded bowl. Also had the watermelonslush with lesser amount of grenadine. It was good. For appetizers we tried the fried calamari. It seemed standard but thesauces were excellent. Service was excellent. Really enjoyed this place. Came here for my birthday dinner and was very surprised and the selection of delicious items on the... menu. The double fried chicken is so crunchy and so juicy it's a great dish to let everyone have a peice. I got the kraze burgerwhich was so flavorful and a nice kick of spice. My favorite dish was the chicken and waffles with the blueberry syrup. It wassta ked beautifully and had a hasbrown in the center. So good! Would definitely recommend this place and they have great nonalcoholic drinks for you to mix when you BYOB. Can't wait to come again. Read more
Their fried chicken sandwich is huuuuge and and the chicken is so crispy. I like the chips that come with it, but I request it... without the glaze. Chicken and waffles here are amazing. The service was fast. I wished the kimchi fries came with actual kimchion it. I’ve had it elsewhere where it has cheese and kimchi loaded on, so these kimchi fries were boring in comparison. I went here on a last minute meet up with a friend. It's location was a little weird to me but hey, I guess any place in... Westfield is a good place. Its a hip place and feels inviting when you walk in. I of course, made my way to the bar to have aseat. To my surpirise it is not a full bar, they only serve wine and sangria. Well I wouldn't let that news rain on my parade,so a pitcher of red sangria please! They have an interesting menu, but from my experience there, you can't go wrong withanything chicken related. I tried a spicy corn roll (yes,they serve sushi) and their fried chicken sammich. Sushi roll, not tomy liking....but that chicken sammich sang sweet melodies to my heart haha. So if you are a fried chicken lover this is a placeto go, if not then allow them to make you one. They also have karaoke rooms for reservation if you feel like being a rockstar. Read more
Surprisingly excellent Korean fried chicken.. reminded me of Bonchon but fresher bc you don't need to go into the city so that's... a huge plus! Cute decorations inside. I would totally come back for its karaoke rooms after covid! Read more
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Roosterspin. Arrived around 3:00 on a Saturday and there was plenty of seating, had our server... suggest some apps and went with the bao buns and a noodle dish. Large on the fried chicken, half spicy half soy. Spice was therebut not overwhelming. Incredible crunch. Read more
That double fried chicken was drool worthy. I say go there just for that item it is 100% all the hype, crunchy not overfried or... greasy, tender on the inside. The spicy garlic soy was fire. You have to wait 25ish minutes because its made to order but itdidn't feel that long. Now the surprise to me was the Mango Salad, I opt to not get salads when in a restaurant they are alwaysoverpriced and undeliver but this salad was bountiful, and all the flavor gelled together perfectly, made feel balanced with thefried chicken. My friend got the fries which are steak fries portions and they were seasoned and good. Love the interior/howthe staff is dressed and the vibe. The hostess was lovely when i walked in with no reservation, a basically at capacity and shestill said not a problem and sat me. I'd return. Read more
