My family and I have frequented different Paninis locations for years? always a fan until tonight. It took almost 30 minutes... to get drinks, almost an hour to get our food and when the food finally came????????????? cold and old. Fries were cold, mydaughters boneless wings had been sitting somewhere for a minute and were cold. The croutons on the salads were mushy like theywere sitting around for hours. Then there was my Buffalo crunch wrap? I?m starving, take the first bite and there?s a small buthard and crunchy bone? in my chicken tendor crunch wrap. Didn?t realize the crunch came from strangely placed bones in thewrap. $100 worth of the worst meal/service we?ve had EVER. The server tried but I think she was covering the entire diningroom and was slow on everything. It?s been feeling like the service and food quality have been suffering at the Westlake Ohiolocation but this was unfortunate and awful. We won?t be back (which sucks because we love paninis). Panini?s in Westlake OH is consistently excellent. They have a great atmosphere for watching the game or during the summer,... sitting outside enjoying the weather. They even have volleyball courts and cornhole. The big screen TV projector coulddefinitely stand an upgrade as it?s difficult to see in the summer when the sun doesn?t set until 9:45 PM. Food wise, you won?tfind a better sandwich in my opinion. Turkey, egg, and cheese is my go-to favorite. Try it, you won?t be sorry. Read more
The atmosphere is really nice and inviting. The main menu is what many would call "bar food". This time we were there for the... breakfast buffet.....a nice selection of breakfast foods (eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage, sauteed veggies, potatoes, freshfruit, pastries, etc). Some in my party felt the food wasn't warm enough (the reason for 4 stars). And it seemed that freshplates for a follow-up trip to the buffet were brought to the table when the the diners' plates were empty, rather than be setout at the food stations to be picked up there. If your server was busy, as in our case, you simply took your used plates backup to get what you wanted. (Again, the 4 stars) Read more
