Had a great evening and dinner in the covered outdoor seating area and later in the bar area for cocktails. The halibut special... and mixed grill were standouts. Well prepared and portions were enough to take home leftovers. Very attentive and friendlyservice. It was our first visit and we'll certainly be back. Read more
The restaurant itself is a beautiful place! You definitely get the effect of “fine dining” however there were a few... disappointments. Compliments on the French onion soup. I thought it was delicious and flavorful. However, I was NOT a fan oftheir chicken bucatini. The mushrooms were not cut up and were way to overpowering, the pulled chicken was not tender it wasstringy and dry. Our server was not really as attentive as she should have been and we had a lot of issues when it came toordering our drinks. Unfortunately it seems no one quite knows how to make a Long Island. Our first round of drinks their sodamachine was not carbonated, so the coke was missing, they didn’t charge us, the second Long Island drinks had the coke butwere extremely tart way to much sour mix. I would not recommend to friends and I probably will not return in the future. Read more
Great lunch as @rosewoodgrill in Westlake today. Burrata cheese with toast points and tomatoes, fish tacos, French onion soup... and some deviled-eggs. Great lunch, Service was lacking but this was because they only had one server. This is not theserver’s fault. I’ll give them a pass. Read more
I've been meaning to stop here. Finally got the chance. The food was underwhelming. I should have gotten a clue when I had to... remove the plates as they had caked food on the sides. Parents ranked their total experience as an 8. They have a small menu,but we able to accommodate slight restrictions. I ranked my food a 5/10. The food was extremely salt. I had to ask that theyremake it without the sauce. I also sent it back because there was a hair in my food. The risotto was ok. The Brussels andbutternut squash did not seem to go together. Unfortunately I was thinking the entire time that I could have prepared the dishbetter myself at home. The seating was nice. The service was exceptional. I'll probably try their other related restaurantsbut not the Rosewood again. Read more
I went for dinner. It’s a beautiful restaurant. The bartender was very “welcoming”. The drinks were good but the food... was “ok”. I was anticipating the french onion soup and fish tacos but was disappointed. It just didn’t have any flavor.Also, I tried their lobster Mac and cheese, but it was salty (sorry no pics) . This is our second time at Rosewood. We are from Pittsburgh but my wife is in Cleveland for work during the week. We chose to... eat here for our anniversary. We made a reservation for 7pm. As soon as we approached the host stand, the manager asked if itwas our anniversary (he knew from our reservation) and congratulated us and thanked us for choosing Rosewood to celebrate. Thefood here is excellent. We really enjoyed the lobster risotto and lobster fettuccine. The server went above and beyond to helpmake our night special. At the end of the meal, to our surprise we were treated with an unexpected dessert to celebrate theoccasion. This was such a great experience. Delicious food and exceptional service.
