I always make a point to stop at Brent's if passing through Westlake. It is conveniently located right off the 101. The food is... delicious and service is always great. They have a huge variety of food to try and deserts/ bakery items to take home. They alsohave a bar area with seating if you want to watch sports while eating. I've never had a bad meal here, and almost always haveleftovers because the portions are huge. Try Brent's Deli, you won't leave disappointed! Read more

Like really Jewish food? This is your place. Not only do they have killer deli sandwiches and items, but they have off the... beaten path Jewish cuisine. Like Stuffed Kasha and Farfel, a casing stuffed with meat and grain and cooked as a sausage servedon a sauteed and boiled pasta. Never seen that before. And traditional Stuffed Cabbage in Sweet and Sour sauce. Read more

No words to describe this spot. Da Bomb? Ridiculous? Finally a place that can compete with Langers. They don't have a... Russian-style with Cole slaw but they do have a ruben. It's unbelievable. The waitress advised me to try their pastrami withCole slaw with an onion roll and it was unbelievable! Their carrot cake was over the edge and I don't even eat carrots cake! Read more

I'll be coming here for a long time now at least 20 years but it's been a long time since I've been here for about 3 or 4 years... ago. This place has always been good. Today we ordered the half pastrami half soup and half corned beef and matzo ball soup alsoLatka. It was good the pastrami was perfect and the corned beef sandwich was perfect. Service was great and the place was cleanvery crowded as usual came here around 10:30 a.m. and more people started coming in. Anyway if you've not eaten here I suggestyou try it you won't be disappointed try any of the food on the menu I'm sure they're all good. Read more

The most delicious and wonderful lunch spot in Westlake! The ambiance and food is always perfect and on point. Ronnie the owner... has owned the restaurant for 50+ years! Not to mention the portions are always deluxe in size so you will never remainunsatisfied when leaving! This place always takes it to another level when it comes to service and taste. From baked goods totheir sandwiches and matzo ball soup (especially the fries) yum!. I always leave with a smile on my face and a full belly! Thisis a must try if you are ever in the Westlake area and in need of a good lunch spot! Read more

Got the lox with two slices this time with a toasted onion bagel. FYI No espresso machine here. Stronger coffee would make this... 5 star in my book. Great matzo ball soup. Love the pastrami. Huge portions. Read more

Coming to Brent's last week reminded me of the time I had breakfast there before going to the Reagan library with my dad and the... waitress gave me a complimentary everything bagel with cream cheese (this was in ~2014). This place hasn't changed in the last~7 years. I'm happy they're sticking with the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" ethos. Anyways, I had the #13 on rye special withfries and potato salad which is a fantastic value. I would order the coleslaw next time to try it. I also had their bagels whichare great but are fairly petite. Service is excellent and extremely fast as it was in 2014 and I love the bar seating. Read more

I used to think no restaurant could touch Nate ?N Al?s, but that?s no longer the case! Everything we've eaten here was BETTER!... At Brent?s the latkes are divine and the sweet cheese-filled blintzes are delectable!! This place is HUGE and so is the menu. It's a deli combined with a regular restaurant. It's clean, friendly and the staff was wonderful. I highly recommend it! BRAVO???? Read more
