Ok so 1st time visiting this location, I only came because they seem to be the only location that have the traditional shrimp... tempura appetizer I like. I ordered that and the general chicken. I always add shrimp in my rice and they we're generous withthat. The chicken though was like tenders which was weird. The dipping sauce tasted like it had too much vinegar so had to finda different sauce @ home. I don't know if I'd get another chicken dish but I'm open to trying something else. Read more

This Chinese restaurant is very authentic and they have the best Chinese food in Westland I've been gone there since it opened... in the 70s ..I really like the sauce that comes in the dinner----- subgum wonton..... which is pork, chicken , shrimp, andveggies. you put the dinner on your white rice. then you pour that thin delicious sauce over it.. Picked up $50 in carry out yesterday, as a long time customer this restaurant has changed!! The almond chicken sauce isn't the... same. It's almost an orange color with no water chestnuts. My sweet and sour chicken was packed poorly, the sauce leaked out ofthe styrofoam into my almond chicken. The wonton soup came with oyster crackers instead of the crunchy kind of noodle that makesthe soup. This restaurant is going downhill. Not even a fortune cookie or roll! This restaurant has THE BEST food Chinese food in westland! All selections are fresh, hot, and made with real ingredients. They... are open during the pandemic for carryout only. The noodles are fresh, not dry and brittle. The chicken taste like chicken andvery delicious. The staff are friendly and have quick service. Would highly recommend this place. Read more
I ordered the chicken egg foo young with fried rice & shrimp rolls. My sister ordered almond chicken, fried rice & egg roll.... Everything was tasty except the rice which tasted spoiled. My sister called me to ask if my food tasted okay because her ricetasted spoiled and the lettuce on her almond chicken was bad also. The food is usually good here, but Fri, Dec 9, 2022 was not agood day for them. The service was great, from ordering to picking up. They are still not offering dine-in.
