This one is worth checking out, the hype is real. Went here for lunch, had a seafood boil and it was awesome. Had the Cajun boil... with crawfish, shrimp and king crab. Potato, corn and egg were included with the boil. The king crab legs were a good price andwere a good size. The service was great, food came to the table fast and very hot, and the inside of the restaurant was clean.I've had the recently built franchised seafood boil restaurant in town, and I got more food at a better price here. 1st time customer and ordered takeout. Got 2 seafood boil bags and some hush puppies. A nice lady, I assume the owner greeted... me. Gave me 2 complimentary pieces of cheesecake. My drive home was a good 20 minutes. Food was still hot and so delicious! Hadshrimp and clams in a hot Cajun sauce and crab legs in a medium garlic butter. The seafood was high quality and so good!!! We found this place on our way back from a dentist. Such an awesome place! This is a family own seafood restaurant. We ordered... the Jalapeño poppers and Crab Kitchen Platter. Jalapeno poppers are perfectly cooked and seasoned. Creamy and crispy. CrabKitchen Platter was AMAZING???? We chose their Cajun house mix and Extra Spicy. We love spicy and they made even more spicyfor us???? They mix over 40 different spices and herbs into the delicious spicy butter sauce. The sauce had so much umami and Iwas instantly in love with the flavor. Perfectly seasoned and never too salty. Snow crab legs, shrimp and mussels weredefinitely my favorite. So succulent???? Such a sweet and friendly welcoming by Sue and Kenny. They made us feel at home. Suewas kept refilling my ice tea and I really appreciated that because I drink fast. This is hands down, without a doubt the best seafood boil restaurant I have been to. They make the Cajun season in house so when... you ask for extra spicy, it is spicy and not salty. The seafood is super fresh, and the portions are generous at their pricepoint. The staff is also super friendly and excited to make the food to your liking. They have an extensive fried food menu thatI did not get to sample (besides the perfectly cooked jalapeno poppers) but I have never seen one that large at this style ofrestaurant. They also had po'boy sandwiches! I will be back, I can't wait to go back, and I hope to make this a common part ofmy food rotation. This place is a gem! By far my favorite seafood boil place of all! I?ve tried many of them from Sacramento to Nashville to... Chicago and none of them tastes as good as this one! I traveled to Detriot from Virginia craving a seafood boil. I googled ?crab boil near me? and Crab Kitchen?s reviews impressed... me. When we arrived there were no cars in the parking lot but the sign said Open so we went inside. The hostess was very sweetand accommodating. The food was amazing. I would definitely go there again. Wanted to try and find somewhere new for date night and this place did not disappoint. It doesn't look like much from the road... but don't judge this book by its cover! The food and owners are incredible! Felt like having your friends parents making sureyou got everything you wanted! We ordered the seafood boils and selected different items! They were all delicious! Highlyrecommend the house special seasoning. My wife got medium heat and that is probably hot for most people. I did hot and loved itbut I like very spicy food. Recommend mild for most folks. The food had excellent seasoning and flavor and the meat was goodquality! The prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get also. We will be back again! Read more
Birthdays coming up for me and my sister so we decided on Crab legs. I was worried when we got there- it was empty. We were the... first customers for the dinner hour. I was determined to get our crab legs so we ordered the crab boil with 2 clusters. It camewith small whole potatoes, a section of corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg all swimming in a garlic butter sauce. Excellent.Perfect. Delicious.
