My daughter started going here because of their gluten free menu (which is fabulous). I joined her today for the first time and... was very satisfied. I had the Irish omlette and it was delicious. But even better than the tasty food, gluten free menu, and thefact that they carry Blazo's pie (wonderful childhood memories); was the WONDERFUL staff!! Everyone was so friendly and made usfeel welcome. And they take the time to "know" you. What a great experience. So glad I started my day with them today! Read more
This place is amazing. As someone who is celiac they have the best menu around. I gave never gotten sick and know they take... their cooking seriously. It?s wonderful being able to have fun food again that is gluten free! Not only is the food good but allthe servers are wonderful. They are friendly and make you feel like part of the family. I found Mr Mike?s Grill on a whim after a quick search for gluten free in Westland while we were out running errands. We decided... to stop in and I was so pleased to see the extensive gluten free menu. Service was fabulous. Angie was our server, very sweetand super helpful with all of my questions. Super friendly, very aware of celiac and gluten sensitivities, food comes out fast and got. They are only 4 stars because the... food lacks some variety and the helpings are a little on the small side. Would like to see some more creativity here. But ifyou are sensitive to gluten and want to go somewhere you know you will be safe, this is a great spot for a meal. Read more
When I say this was an amazing experience, I mean it from the bottom of my heart! First of all when you first sit down they ask... would you like a glutton free menu! That is beautiful in its self! I don?t think I have enough time to write how much we loved this place. Don?t let the inside fool you. It looks a little run... down but that is not what they are about. It is a family own small business. They have a huge certified gluten free menu. Why? Because the mom is a celiac and she cares. Our waitress was Angie the daughter. It was our first time here and she toldus about everything. She even told me some of the food is from Sysco but also some is from local places like the ham or cornedbeef. Also they have a lot of homemade sauces so that celiacs can eat there stress free. My wife got a sandwich called the bigbird melt. It had turkey and bacon. She actually had like 10 different homemade GF dressings to choose from as well for hersalad. She even got an appetizer. The coolest part was the mom came out to meet us to show one Celiac to another she meansbusiness. My wife asked why she had so much passion. She said that it is just not fair for Celiacs to go out to eat and haveno choices and that is why she does what she does. This family puts a lot of passion in their small business and it shows.
