We had a $200.00 carryout order from a business down the street and when we were paying a waitress rudely said "I had to stop... waiting my tables to come ring you up and you don't even tip." We didn't realize that the gratuity wasn't already included onsuch a large order. On top of that we were missing a meal and one was wrong. How dare that waitress yell at me in front of thewhole place. Who is going to tip someone so rude. We do these work lunches weekly and you will not be receiving any businessfrom us. Been eating there for years. Love their stuffed french toast with apples. Not expensive like another restaurant in the area and... they have flavored creamers for coffee. Fast service. Read more
I would give this place 0 stars, I don?t usually ever review anything but after a waitress started discussing me and my business... with my employees I would never ever support this restaurant again. Disgruntled mother of an employee from literally 15 plusyears ago started bad mouthing me to my employees who came in for lunch. They were uncomfortable and worried about what wouldhappen to their food after she was talking about me in such negative terms. Immature and unprofessional. We used to go here weekly for Sunday breakfast but stopped because the food was getting over priced and the service was just not... so good. We had issues in the past with rude servers who rushed us if we went in the evening so we just stopped going. Wedecided to pop in yesterday and it has gotten worse. The servers all were standing at the counter with an attitude chewing gumwhen you walk in - about 6 of them. They all stared at us and made it uncomfortable, almost as if they do not want you there.They all continued to play on their phones and gossip. I noticed a girl who kept playing with her hair near the carry outregister/food window. She kept taking her hair down and putting it back up without washing her hands. We were given a dirtyplate and it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to notice that we needed something. Our server dropped off our bill 5 minutesafter we got our food which was so rude. Our potatoes were practically raw. You can tell the owners care about their restaurantwhenever we go there because they have a positive attitude and are always doing something. It just seems their staff is bringingthem down. These same servers have been here for years so you would think they would know better or how to act in hospitality bynow. Read more
Very friendly staff. The food was good. I've had much better there before (order the same thing each time), and the sandwich... quality just hasn't been as good the last few times ) that is why it is a 4 star. I do love their onion rings and the familylove their fries. I think it is great they use a local family dairy's ice cream for their desserts/shakes, but we didn't reallycare for the taste of the two we tried. The shake tasted freezer burned but it was from a pretty new carton, and the supermanwas very different than what we are used to. Read more
Staff is rude. Expect a huge tip for a pick up order and even say it out loud when picking up your food in front of other... customers!! This is for for the waitress wearing bright pink lipstick. You didn't serve me. I picked up food. I'm sorry you hateyour job, but don't take it out on customers picking up take out food. You lost customers. Might not mean much too you pinkylips, but it affects your restaurant. Food was great but we'll never return. Read more
