My husband and I visited Huntington Beach for a friend's wedding. We had a hard time finding good food by the beach, so we... decided to head to El Torito. ***UPDATE**** Dustin Paddock the manager or owner requested that I send him an email. So I did and he didn't respond. Just like... the service of his restaurant he didn't respond. Not surprised based on my review. Unfortunately customer service is not theirnumber one priority and talk about being under staffed. If I didn't get up after 15 minutes of just waiting for someone to cometake our initial order, I can guarantee it would have been longer. When the food came to the table they didn't bring anysilverware or plates. So it took another 5-7 min to get those while our food cooling down. So we had luke warm fajitas and theyforgot to bring us our tortillas. I am not going to proceed and talk about how they messed up dessert too. The kicker is evenafter all this poor customer service and experience, they proceed to charge for the entire meal. Definitely won't be eating atthis location again anytime soon. Read more

I have eaten here a few times before and enjoyed the food which is why I came back, but today I was disappointed. Ordered the... carne asada and it was cut too thick to chew. I finally had to discreetly spit it out on to a napkin. Not good ???? Theappetizer platter with a little of everything was good though so not a total bust. Read more
Very reasonably priced, and the churro pancakes were fantastic! Huevos rancheros were very nice as well. Can't wait until... they're back at full staff and the experience returns to normal. Read more
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Over an hour to get food and came out luke warm and tasted terrible. Was sitting... at the bar and the bar tender never asked me if I wanted another drink while I was waiting. Tried to be patient and hope thingswere going to get better, they didn't!
