I remember this place having amazing food and someplace we were excited to celebrate birthdays at. This time around it was not... that. Food has definitely declined in quality, things were delivered wrong and then we were rushed out the door after paying andleaving a great tip. Probably won?t be coming back unfortunately. This "restaurant" subbed my steak - carne asada - for pork. When we called to address the issue they said that we ordered... carnitas which was not on our ticket nor in our phone order. The person taking the complaint "left" and handed off the phone toa random guy that she was talking to in spanish throughout our phone conversation.The "smothered fries with chicharon" was amixed mess of pot roast, poorly cooked pork fat and random meat chunks that were difficult to identify, hardly passable. Just asa side note, does anyone know of any Mexican cuisine that sells "carnitas" prepared like in the picture (not shredded pork butcooked pork slabs slathered in sauce)? I sure don't. Food is amazing, but service is simply not. We usually eat here once a week, and without fail we usually are seated at a table... and wait about 10 mins for a server to take out drink orders. The food typically takes a while to come out, and once it doescome out, you can expect to not see your waitress for a good 30 mins after that. Once the food is delivered, nobody comes aroundfor refills or to check in. Ironically though, they?re very prompt about grabbing your bill and getting you out the door. After being seated, it took just over 40 minutes for someone to return to take our order. It seems likethey do a lot of food delivery service orders with not enough staff.
