First, this was the freshest seafood I have ever had in the Midwest. Considering I live in New England, with fresh seafood... regularly straight from the ocean, I know that fresh taste. This was magnificent! Second, let's talk service. Anna, host andwaitress, got us seated fast, was friendly, had great but unobtrusive conversation with us and delivered food perfectly andquickly. Now, the food. Oh my, we ordered the Seared Tuna Roll ($17), Big Daddy Roll ($17), Sweet Potato Roll ($7), Mango TangoRoll ($16), Hamachi Orange Roll ($16) and tea ($2.50/ea). And, it was all ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! My personal favorite was theSeared Tuna Roll, which sat in a marinade of its own juices and sauce. The cilantro was a perfect addition, not overpowering thenatural taste of the seared tuna. And the buttery tataki sauce...my mouth is watering again and I just finished eating. I amstill racing and I am STUFFED! Which reminds me, it is the perfect amount for a light and filling lunch, leaving you fullcomfortably and still able to walk out the door with ease. Note to the wise: tea is served properly hot, at burn your tonguetemperature, so let it sit a sec. Overall, I am definitely making this a norm for every visit to Denver, CO. Well worth thevisit. I think this just made my top 5 worldwide sushi places! Read more

We found this place by accident today. We were going to eat at Ana's since it got good reviews and said online it was open... today. However, when we arrived, the sign said it is closed on Mondays. Coming inside, the restaurant is very inviting. It feelsvery relaxed and has a good vibe. Great place to come and have a casual meal. The service is really good and most, if not all,the staff have been there a minimum 3 years. Our server was very personable, Polina, but did not introduce herself, so it wasn'tuntil I looked at the receipt that I knew her name. The calamari is fantastic! The tempura batter on them was nicely seasonedand light. The calamari on the inside was nice and tender, so well cooked. All rings, no tentacles. That would be my suggestion:make it an option at least to have tentacles included. So based on the calamari alone, I was looking forward to the sushi. Therolls were beautiful. They were also tasty, but I will say, the sauce was a little unbalanced for my taste. There was a touchtoo much umami and not quite enough sweetness to balance. One person in our party had a bentonite box and said that the sauceoverpowered their salmon. The drink you see is a pear sake martini. Very tasty! Don't drink it too fast unless you want to gettipsy right away. So compared to Go Fish, the calamari was better, but the rolls were a little inferior. Read more

Good sushi! I really liked the crunchy exterior of the roll we ordered. Service was good too.
