Todays visit was just great! We were seated promptly, had a server in seconds who gave us great attention and service! We had... bacon cheeseburgers that were delicious. I havent had Applebee's in years and honestly I don't know if Ill ever be back. First I ordered an Arnold Palmer and found the... tea to taste moldy and like mildew. I returned the tea. I ordered the endless wings and the firt order I got were cold but thefries were piping hot, so it seems like they were just sitting around and they just threw them in some sauce and served. My wifeordered the chicken quesadilla and it was literally dripping with grease. The server was a nice dude and he attempted to helpwhen things were wrong but he just couldnt fix all of the issues. Love the Happy hour specials late night at Applebee's. The one we usually go to closed early so we went to our 2nd choice. Glad... we did the bartender (who was also our server because we sat in the bar). Was amazing. She had no problem making my specialorder drink (an Angry Orchard hard cider served Coronarita style in Applebee's signature red Sangria) and was attentive andpleasant the entire time. I should have known... walking into an EMPTY restaurant, something was wrong. At first it was ok. Then, it was like the... entire staff hung out in the kitchen giggling and laughing, while the glasses sat empty for extended periods of time - notonce, but twice. When we told our local friend where we were going, he said skip it, he'd never had a good meal at thislocation. He wasn't wrong. Sitting at a bar, glasses (to include water) should never be empty. The absentee bartenderreceived a tip reflective of her service. The only waitress who popped out, intermittently, was too involved in her phone, wecouldn't even send her to look for the absent bartender. A male, who appeared to be a manager of sorts stuck his head outonce, to look at the 8 customers... and went back to wherever he came from. All around bad service, mediocre food. My family and I visit this place regularly. I never used to be a fan of the food, but I feel like they have really improved... their menu. Everything is very reasonably price. I usually make modifications to whatever I order and the staff was very helpfuland nice about it. I would recommend the classic bacon cheeseburger. The house salad was also very fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly. Was really happy with the quality of food. Crispy taco appetizers. Loved the walnuts in the wedge salad.... Chicken wings were also satisfying. Would get a 5 star but our server disappeared after our bill was paid. Slower during lunchhour. Read more
Food is good but consistency is lost with the lack of service. Brought the right food but wrong sauce. Like your drink refilled,... not a question you will receive at Applebee's. Why is it that older establishments seem to lose the customer service that oncemade them neighborhood hamgout. Read more
