My review was initially 5 stars and glowing. My last two times going here, the food quality went way down hill. The chicken is... gristly and chewy. They use plastic containers with no vents so everything fried is basically a soggy steamed mess by the timeit gets to you. So disappointing when the northern suburbs lack a good Nashville hot place. I wish I could give this zero stars. My chicken tenders were barely 1/4" thick and rubbery. Medium heat barely had any flavor,... nothing dripping onto the toast. The cole slaw had so much black pepper it was inedible. The mac and cheese was mealy and cold.The toast seemed several days stale. The portion sizes for the sides was very small. As a Nashville native, I am appalled at themisrepresentation. Not only is this NOT Nashville Hot Chicken, it's not even good food. Please call it something different. Read more
Chicken was incredibly small, flavorless. Got XXHot and hot, but it had no kick to it somehow.
Actually dined at Saw Grass. Large portions. Great bar service. Clean restrooms. Family atmosphere. Lunch menu.
Their chicken sandwiches are delicious! Keep in mind they are SPICY! We order them mild. Can also recommend chips, mac and... cheese, and banana pudding. We asked for crispy wings and they came out burnt. Only bad part of otherwise excellent meal. Sportsbar atmosphere. Large cocktail/beer menu. Waiter was amazing! Read more
Worst food I?ve seen in a loooong time. Wow. Everything we ordered was wrong because we got someone else?s order. The other guys... fries were soggy and cold, his sliders were very dry and flavorless and his boneless wings were blackened by overcooking in old,dirty oil. Had high hopes for this place as my wife and I love some great chicken. Unfortunately they fell short tonight. We ordered... through DoorDash and the food arrived with items missing, and the wings that I was so excited for, while being well cooked,simply had zero sauce on them. Read more
