We were drawn to Mika by the pictures of beautiful presentation online and the respectable 4.6 rating, but we were ultimately... very disappointed with the quality of the sushi. We ordered the spicy salmon, spider roll, volcano roll and the flower rolls. The tempura shrimp in the spider roll had a funky taste and the spicy salmon was utterly tasteless. The other two rolls werebetter, but despite looking good, they still tasted no better than pre-packed rolls you could find in a foodcourt. Additionally their water tasted metallic, making me feel as if it came straight from the tap without any kind offiltration at all. Makes me concerned about lead content. Overall, tasteless generic sushi with good presentation. If you're inThornton, skip it and go to Matsumoto. Read more

Awesome food. I have a dairy allergy, and my server goes out of her way to make sure my food don’t contain any dairy. Will... definitely be back. Read more

Came this Saturday at 9:30pm, sign says they close at 10pm and the OPEN sign was on. My husband and son wanted a sushi roll, the... lady at the front got mad and said no we are closed, but I told her your sign says 10pm?! She said yes but we stop seatingpeople an hour before because our cooks need to leave by 10pm. This makes no sense! First of all, turn off your OPEN sign! 2nd,change your hours!! Restaurants take customers in until the sign says ???? first time we have ran into something like this.Everyone beware, their closing time is actually an hour before what they have written outside, if you show up you will be deniedservice. Very disappointed. Read more

My limited credentials are as a Korean-born, Seattle-raised sushi enthusiast. This hidden gem is what I’ve been looking for!!... Easily the freshest fish I’ve had in a long time. The salmon + fatty yellowtail was basically a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The rolls were flavorful & soo satisfying. Agadashi tofu was simple, savory, & perfectly executed. Prices were reasonable forwhat you’re getting. Our dining-in wait after we had ordered was less than 25 minutes at a high-volume dinnertime. Tip: Thisplace is owned/managed by Mizu Izakaya folks so if you’re looking for that level of quality, you’ll find it here formom-and-pop-shop vibes. Thank me later. Read more

Sushi was sub par at best. Presentation was good ,but had to ask for more water . I ordered four salmon sashimi only received 3... but when I was charged for four I showed them this picture with 3 salmon sashimi they called me a liar and said I had 4. Whenthey asked the chef the chef verified there was only 3 . Lost my business for life over a 3 dollar piece of fish. Read more

Mika Sushi II is usually our go-to sushi spot as we always love the quality of their sushi. Today was very disappointing. We... ordered about a $80 worth of sushi rolls that came out mushy and extremely sticky. The rice was over cooked and so sticky thatit was difficult to chew and swallow. I made this issue known to the server right away who offered no solution to the issue. Shesaid that the rice was made by the same person every day so there is nothing they can do to make our experience better butclearly the quality of the food suffered today. We were offered a 10% off of our ticket but the customer service and food wasvery disappointing today. Unfortunately this may be our last visit here. Read more
