First time ever in a place like this... for my liking on dinning out I hated it. I didn't know table needed to be shared with... other people. We were a party of 5 and we were seated with other 2 couples... it was cramped. Costumers next to us weren't verypleasant company. That was my mistake for staying after seen we were seated with other couples. Again we wanted to try somethingelse and it seemed like this place had really good reviews... once we were seated@8:45 pm Saturday night,server came and tookour drink order. She left and didn't come back until 9 with drinks, then salad came like 10 min after that. Then sushi arrived5min after that but it was my dinner. That means that my sushi stayed sitting at our table until 9.45 when the chef came and didthe rest of the dinners. I had to wait until my children and my husband were served their food. Why can't all of it come out atonce. Or let the costumer know that sushi arrives before the rest of the food and we would be more than happy to reconsider ourorder... well we didn't end up getting all the food ready and set up until 10.10 pm. As soon the chef left and we started toenjoy our dinner server came back and asked if we wanted boxes to take home. REALLY??? We had barely start enjoying our food andthey were in a rush to kick us out... if they were aware of the wait we had and all why sit a table an hour before closing timeif all you gonna do is cook our take out in front of us... bad service, bad wait time, overall after myself working in theservice industry for many many years this was one of the worst experience ever... I will definitely not go back and will let myfamily and friends about this experience... we payed a high price bill only to have our cold take out food in front of us... notworth it???????? Yikes, not a great experience. The restaurant is dirty, way to crowded. INCREDIBLY hot - to the point of discomfort. Servers... were doing their best but couldn't keep up. Hard to even get a glass of water refilled. Salad was so sad - pre-shredded icebergwith a huge glop of weird dressing. Like bad cafeteria quality. Hibachi chef was nice enough. The steak was truly amazing! Order the steak. I've been here once a year for birthdays and every time I go, I'm incredibly... entertained by the performance each chef has put on. Had reservations for our party of 12 to celebrate a birthday. Our waiter was in such a hurry taking our drink order we couldn't... even ask questions. He would cut you off and move to the next person. My mom tried to order a martini and he ran off before shecould tell him how she wanted it. She had to get up and find him. She let him know we were not in a hurry and we were there tocelebrate a birthday. The next time he came back to the table was worse. He was rude and said to our party that we needed tohurry up and order because he was busy. He was very rude about it. He said he would give us 5 more minutes for $5 and if we lefthim a good review, unprofessional. Killed the excitement and we all just wanted to walk out and go somewhere we would be treatedbetter. After that we sat there waiting for about an hour for a chef to come and cook our food. The food was very basic, notmuch flavor or portions. Update after-COVID era visit 04/2022: The place is still the same, albeit busier. We had a reservation and we still had to wait... about 15 minutes before being seated. It's a hibachi so they always try to fill the tables before seating you then if all tablesare occupied, they can't just kick customers out so there will be a wait. Also only so many chefs to go around. They have signsat the hostess table to let you know about all the rules and even warn you that a reservation does guarantee a table but theremay be a wait still. I posted pictures of them so people know what's up. The food is as good as it was. Waiter was the only downside as once he took our original order, we had several instances of drinks going empty and not checking back up but that placewas slammed so it's understandable as many places struggle to find workers. So be warned of that as well. The portions are good,meats tasted good as well as vegetables. Finally this place is opened. Please, before you head out that way, I strongly suggestyou make a reservation. They are crazy buzy and popular. Been waiting since last spring for this place to open and they finallydid. They were apparently waiting on some final paperwork to be able to open. Food is fresh and cooked in front of you, hibachistyle. They can even spice your meat selection for you, garlic or even El Diablo (spicy). They also have a great sushi selectionas well as wine. It's fun for the family and kids will be mesmerized by the show the chefs display. Now mind you they still havesome kinks to iron out. The wait staff is still learning the trade and they have new chefs. So be patient. But do not hesitateto ask questions. The hours are not really definitive as they are still trying to figure those but I was told they will beopened everyday from 10ish am till 9 pm. Was craving sushi and decided to come here. What a mistake!!! Interior is so beat up and boxes Random stuff on many tables like... they are moving.
