Ordered at 4 pm today (11/1/22) for takeout. My husband picked up our order. When he arrived there was only one couple there... dining. My husband had fried chicken which was so salty he was unable to eat it. His side of potato salad was missing alongwith no dinner rolls. I had the stuffed chicken breast which was hard to cut because of being so over done. I had a side ofFrench fries that were obviously not cooked at all. I had to cook the fries which I defeats the purpose of getting carry out. Obviously I won?t be ordering anytime in the near future. Can?t imagine what we would have gotten if they had been busy. Bullocks has been around for a long time. Fried chicken is the best in the county. Not an expensive place to eat. We go for... chicken and burgers but I?ve found everything else to be mediocre. Dined in for the first time today! Food was fresh and served hot. The burgers were delicious and well cooked/seasoned. Fries... were amazing with gravy on the side was so good. The food is pretty tasty. Their beef vegetable soup and ice cream are especially good. We got our food about five minutes after... ordering it. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty depressing, with low light and old decor. I probably won't return for dining-inbecause of that, but I would definitely order catering.
