We went because we were celebrating our anniversary! This was my first time here and I can't wait to return. The drinks were... amazing! The fried mozzarella was different and delicious! My dish with my servers recommendation was mouth-watering! Anddessert, I've had a lot of banana puddings this has been by far one of my favorites. Let's not forget about our server Patrick!He was very knowledgeable about the menu and his suggestions were definitely on point. It was a great time celebrating birthdays. Food, ambiance and the service were great. This wasn’t our fist time here but had a... chance to sit outside in the beautiful Chicago weather. The place was great for us and we took ton of pictures by there outdoorwaterfall. Kids really enjoy their food and we would defiantly come back for more. Read more
Went to Chicago for my birthday trip with the husband and kids. Husband and I had reservations for 8pm. Didn’t know they... closed that early but the site let you select that time. Reservations is recommended or you’ll be waiting. I didn’t like howthat bunch tables anywhere to pack people in. I was too close to other tables and the hosted desk. The food was ok I’ve hadbetter. The best thing was the seafood gumbo. Husband had a meal with oysters and got sick after we left. I will try again oneday maybe in Houston or Louisiana next time. Read more
Haven't been here in way too long, so glad we went. I recall the food and service being excellent and still is. We tried a lot... of items so the bill was on the higher side but it's our choice. The shrimp and crayfish fondeaux is an old favorite of mine asare the stuffed shrimp. They were super busy at 7 pm but service was prompt and very good. Highly recommend. Read more
Make sure you have a reservation or your going to be waiting for a while. Once we sat down and ordered our food came pretty... fast. The waitress is very helpful if needed. Once the food came out tasted delicious with some spice. I've had gator before andthis did not taste like it but still good. Read more
Our waiter Keith has outstanding customer service skills and when we return to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen we only want him to... serve us and no one else. He made sure that we were comfortable, our glasses stayed full without asking and he is very politeand chivalrous. Thank you Keith for showing us some hospitality and keep doing a fantastic job. Absolutely great food! Came here for my son's birthday and every was great, but watch how much you order because the portions... are filling. Our waiter was phenomenal and his drink suggestions were perfect. The Sausage and seafood gumbo was loaded anddelicious. Yes everything is a bit pricey but it's is Absolutely worth it. Read more
This is one of those places where your torn between breaking our the black tie or the lobster bib. Found out due to covid all... seating except for the bar is reservation only. The place was packed and the staff was busily hustling.. our bartenders wereworking in tandem and handled all the people (more than 10 couples and some singles) efficiently. We tried a couple dishes.Food Presentation was great.. was a bit on the pricey side for a couple plus drinks but a joyus occasion nonetheless.
