Best dinner I've had at restaurant in two plus years Every person (the 3of us) insisted the other try our dish cause it was the... best. I think the 5oz strip steak won. Gorgeous restaurant, nice ambiance and great service!! We all got the Rigatoni pasta and found the portion to be small and the... pasta lacking in flavour. Pros: Before the pandemic, I was always happy with the food and service here. Now they are one of very few restaurants that has... a covered terrace, so you can dine 'outside' even when the weather is not cooperating. Cons: This is based on my most recentmeal. We went for a light meal before going to the cinema. While the service was attentive, the meal was nothing special, andthe server was impatient with our questions. The cocktails were totally average. The salad and wings felt like they had beenmade from leftovers from other dishes. The burger was tasty, but when I asked if they could serve it with the relish on the sidewe were told there was 'absolutely no modifications' because they are 'not a burger joint'. I mean, I understand, but there werelike 6 other tables in the place at the time (more than 1 waitstaff/table) and it's still a $32 burger that was clearly a takeon a Big Mac. There was NO presentation whatsoever, just the item on the plate. So, 3 stars since I had had a few 4-5 starexperiences here before, but this last one was max a 2. A great evening. Our first visit back since Covid. Starters of smoked haddock white bean dip with home made potato chips, and... the crustini layered with capicola and buratta were delicious. Two of us had the steak with wine reduction which was somelt-in-your mouth it came across like tenderloin, not a NY strip. The lamb neck special with peas and rosemary was comfort foodand satisfying. Lastly a plate of their rigatoni with pulpette was enjoyed thoroughly as the tomato sauce had that texture andflavour that only comes from slow cooking. As with everything else in 2022, prices are higher than I would have expected to paya year or two ago... but this is "now". The staff were polite, engaging and knowledgeable. Throw in the free evening parking inthe Westmount Square garage and you have a perfect outing. Read more

The food was amazing, we had the steak tartare and gnocchi with truffle, simply divine. The wines were also delicious, they... have private importations, among the best wines I tasted in my life. The sommelier explained us the story of each wines, it wasa unique experience! Really recommend this place and they have wine by the glace, perfect to taste different wines. Read more
