Last weekend I celebrated my Engagement Party at Kokai Sushi & Lounge - it was a total success! I’ve had the pleasure of... trying out their three locations in the past and I knew the food and the space at the Weston location was ideal for mygathering. I had planed for 35 attendees and their patio was perfect to host my event. More people showed up, but they were veryflexible and helped me set everyone up. We had multiple appetizers, fried rice, two sushi boats filled with a variety of rolls,and a very refreshing sangria. The service was attentive - the only hiccup was that the main entrees took a long time to beserve. Overall, my family had a great time and loved the food! They allowed me to set up a dessert table and I broughtchampagne for the toast. They provided the table and the champagne glasses! I love Japanese food so I don't know how I hadn't visited Kokai before. The food is a bit different and amazing from a regular... japanese place, thanks to ita amazing chef, Scarlett, who even took the time to come out and talk to us about the food. You canseat inside (cozy) or outside (in front of the small lake) and the service will be great. Highly recommended!!! Read more
