We had the Prosciutto & Calarmari for our appetizer and the Spaghetti al Cartoccio and Fiocchetti di Ricotta e Tartufo for our... entrees. Obsessed with this newly opened restaurant on Okeechobee Boulevard… if you want authentic Sardinian (Italian) cuisine, this... spot has it! Love the ambiance and hospitality, and the food is insanely good. Definitely get the appetizer shown in my firstphoto. It’s the Soufflé al Pecorino, and it features sautéed mushrooms with a black truffle sauce. Another menu must is thedessert called Seadas con Miele Sardo. The homemade puff pastry is filled with sweet cheese, then is lightly fried and drizzledwith honey from Sardinia. Yum! Read more
Good news first: they have survived Covid and the food is still as good as we remembered! Bad news: the air conditioning is... still way too cold, and when we requested a move from the frigid interior to an outside table we were politely told yes and thentold to carry our own glasses, bottled water, etc outside. From that point on, our server abandon us, without a replacement.When my meal was delivered incorrectly I had to hand carry it back to request a correction. At no point did anyone inquire as towhether we wanted additional drinks, if there were other issues with the food, or if they was any other problem. I downgradedthe rating to a three because of the unacceptably poor service and, despite the great food, it will again be a very long timebefore we return. Read more
This is a cozy restaurant you have to go to, it has left the best impressions on me! Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation,... great wine list representing the region of Italy and wonderful desserts. I recommend this gem of a place to everyone cravingauthentic Italian cuisine! It reminds me of Italy every time I come here. I look forward to coming back here again andagain. What a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The entire staff are extremely knowledgeable ontheir menu and make great recommendations. Chef and owner Andrea is a one of a kind chef true to his origins creating delectabledishes. Absolutely authentic Italian restaurant with available outdoor seating. "Short ribs" is a must-try, as is the lemon cake... dessert. I found the chef's lasagna to be of the traditional style with a hearty meat sauce. Read more
Had our company holiday party here and it was amazing. The food and staff went above and beyond to accommodate everyone in our... large party. The food was all cooked very well and all the drinks and cocktails were superb.
