For a place called Dumpling Daughter, the dumplings were awful. Extremely thick wrappings with very little filling. The exact... opposite of what good dumplings should've been. The Dan Dan was also nothing spectacular. One single piece of bok choy torepresent the "greens* from the menu description. Would not return. Read more

Food looks great but you better call in your order. They wanted me to stand in the threshold to look at the menu. Hostess just... literally shoo'd her hand at me to have me wait there while she took a phone order. Uncomfortable AF. No thanks. Read more

Got the vegetable ramen and I was not a fan, raw vegetables, the broth flavor was off, and the noodles were thick, undercooked,... almost factory tasting. I also got the steamed pork and vegetable dumplings, the flavor was fine, the dough was kind of chewy, not a light tasty steamed dumpling I would prefer. I was disappointed since the place had a good dozen other delivery ordersprepared, clearly popular for locals but I'm not interested to return and try more menu items given the price points. Have ordered from here before and it was good, but today it was very disappointing. Buns were dry, dumplings were doughy,... chicken was overcooked, and overall the food was very under-seasoned and bland. Will not be ordering from here again. Read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch late this afternoon. Everything came out quickly and we found great seats outside. The... texture of the bao buns was perfect and the chicken was delicious. The dumplings were great as well. We will be back! Read more

I got three vegan dishes, and they were all really yummy: veggie dumplings, eggplant in garlic sauce, and the tofu roll-up (no... mayo). The waitress was friendly and patient. We also ordered soy simmered beef, which was meh, and salmon, which tasted fishy.I'd go back for the veggie dishes, but not the other two. Read more

Not really expensive. Beef soup was very good. Shrimp dumplings we're good. It's fusion - Chinese soups and dumplings in a... western atmosphere. Clean, and you don't have to drive to Boston. Not as cheap as Chinatown, but don't have to drive intoBoston, fight crowds, and it's clean. Great find. As for fat in the meat..it adds a lot of flavor to soups. Not super healthy, but it's not like it's bacon! ...and spicy items on the menu will not but your tongue. I wish it was hotter, but still good tohave the option. Read more

A bit pricey for what you would get but the food is actually really authentic. I primarily go here for the noodles and of course... the dumplings. The taiwanese buns are not really that great. Get the Dan Dan Mien and Braised Beef Beijing Noodle Soup. Thenoodles are of generous portions and is a pleasant explosion of flavour and carbs :). The pickled vegetable is fresh (kindacontradictory I know). Get the classic pork and chives dumpling and the chicken and nappa dumplings. The servings are usuallyfor the individual rather than family styled as in a traditional restaurant. It's a great place to grab food alone or with acouple of friends. Side note: I enjoy the fact that they don't ask you for tip or have a tip jar. Read more
