We could not have been more impressed with the catering done by A & S for our mother's Celebration of Life ceremony. They were... able to provide an all-vegan menu, many items gluten-free, for our specific needs -- and everyone was bowled over by howdelicious and varied the food was -- even the meat eaters! Patricia, the owner, and the two servers were as nice andaccommodating as they could be, and all went off without a hitch. We are very grateful, and highly recommend A & S to any andall! <3 Read more

I visit my parents in westport every other weekend - and going to a and s is one of my rituals. Even though I live in NYC, this... is the best place to get specially oils, ingredients, and cheeses, and products - on top of the AHMAZING prepared foods, which istock up on when heading back .The staff and owner are lovely and welcoming - when my mother got sick, I called for an orderlater in the day and said I would see if I could find a friend pick it up to bring it to her- the owner said she would bring itherself! I didn?t think that kind of caring service still existed in the world!!! Just such good people. Im so happy I?mvisiting for a few weeks this summer. They catered my daughters wedding and it was flawless. As a longtime customer of the store - I love all their prepared foods... and everything they serve- also, the best salads and sandwiches by far? and most polite staff. That said, you can see why Ipicked them to cater my only daughters wedding. Every guest commented on the excellent food, the amazing service, and theabundance of the scrumptious offerings - 150 people all had seconds. I didn?t have a large budget but you would never know itby the elegance of the foods and their presentation. Patricia and her team worked so hard to make it a perfect day. Go here all the time and the staff is GREAT. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Orzo salad, chicken salad, chicken scarpiello,... Turkey meatballs, short ribs, osso bucco, eggplant parm, tomato cucumber salad- I could go on forever. Everything we get isbetter than the last thing we got. I read some of these ?bad? reviews and laugh. Every now and then when shopping, you seethese customers that can?t be pleased and find fault where none exists. They just want to project and complain. We recently catered a family gathering for 40. Patricia worked with me on the menu and her suggestions were outstanding. I... needed to accommodate a family member who must eat gluten free. Patricia suggested several entrees and appetizers that could bemade gluten free and also be enjoyed by all. The delivery team was quick and efficient. Most importantly, the food wasDELICIOUS!!
