Me and my wife were in Amis Trattoria in Westport on Saturday October 15 around 2pm. Just few people there, restaurant was empty... and almost all tables were free. We asked manager for the table in a shadow (sunny day); table was for 4 persons among allother free tables. Manager told us that despite empty restaurant we should use ONLY table for two. We realized it was not wortharguing with unfriendly and unprofessional manager and just left. Not coming back with our friends or family anymore. This isvery sad that such unqualified person being on manager’s position destruct people from using this business. Better to havesome profit than nothing. Read more

One of the nicest outdoor dining areas in Westport, hands down. Inventive cocktails continue to be poured at the bar, and the... food is always delicious. Read more

Amis is the gem of downtown Westport. The cocktail list is exquisite and thoughtfully curated. They offer indoor and outdoor ... seating with a industrial chic vibe. The Tomato Arancini, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe & Old School meatballs were 10/10. It's agreat spot for lunch with friends or a date night. It's definitely worth the time to check out Amis! Read more

Stopped in here for drinks and dessert and it was all amazing. Espresso martini was fresh and balanced. Lemon blueberry tiramisu... was creamy and lemony and the blueberry was just perfect. Can't wait to go back for dinner or apps. Read more

Our party of four came in for a meal in the afternoon during the art fair. Only a few tables were seated, so it wasn't rocket... science to prepare our food. We ordered three salads and a gnocchi dish. And then we waited... And waited. It took forever afterthe appetizer for our food to arrive. Grilled chicken medallions can be prepared in 15 minutes. Gnocchi takes just 6 minutes. The assembly should have started before the appetizer was served. Salads should have been prepared in parallel with the chicken. And guess what, no anchovies. An expensive caesar salad with no anchovies. A trattoria that doesn't offer anchovies, period. Thegnocchi dish was barely warm The gnocchi was overcooked and had the sticky texture of bubble gum. I suspect it contained wheat.I get better Italian food at Greek diners. There was an abundance of front-of-house staff walking around with nothing to do.Someone needs basic lessons in resource deployment. Read more

I recently spent a girls night out at amis and everything was perfect! We were able to take advantage of some of the happy hour... specials and sipped on refreshing aperol spritzes...just as great as the ones I've had in Italy. We also had the Wednesday nightpasta special and the rigatoni bolognese was hearty and fresh! The staff was super friendly and helpful...I can't wait toreturn. Read more

Charming dinning experience. Dishes are delicious and possess a delightful twist on the ordinary recipe. Example was the... swordfish balls over polenta, innovative and scrumptious, as is the grilled octipus and rice pudding. Read more
