I go to this restaurant all the time. Tonight will be the last time I’ll go there. They regularly mess up orders. Yesterday... I took my food home and the $5.50 soup wasn’t there. Tonight I ordered a dish I always order. Extra spicy. I get home,nothing. Bland and uneventful. I call up, I know them very well, they apologized and next time it will be better. Theyscrewed me yesterday, they ruimy dinner tonight. Instead of saying, I’m sorry, tomorrow lunch is on us, $20 bucks, he saysnothing. Ruin my dinner and it’s ok? I don’t think so. Honestly, the food is hit or miss. I found a few dishes I loveand I eat there often. I can deal w cold white rice, but ruining my dinner twice in a row is unacceptable. Not happy about the food at all. Ordered general tso chicken and sesame chicken and both meals were over fried. Chicken meat... tasted like dried chicken chips. Both meals looked identical except 1 had sesame seeds on it. Also, requested food peanut andpeas free due to allergies and pineapple duck fried rice still came with peas. This was a shock! Sure there are price increases on various things at the moment. However I found that the prices here have... jumped about 50%! Come on this is out of control. The Little Kitchen Of Westport has the MOST delicious food! Also their staff goes above and beyond and are excellent. I highly... recommend this restaurant for dining in or take out. You will never be disappointed! Lastly, thank you Little Kitchen for takingsuch great care of me when I broke my foot and making sure my food arrived since I was unable to cook. I got the whole fish from here and WOW was I impressed! The staff here is excellent and remembers you if you tip well. The food... is all well made, and the restaurant is usually pretty packed. Good selection of drinks as well as appetizers. Read more
The Little Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in CT. We live 50 minutes away and we make the trek a few times a year... because i crave their soup. They have a chicken coconut soup that has lotus beans and is the tastiest soup! On our last trip webrought a friend who was equally pleased with their food. We ordered appetizers, soups and dinners and we were very happy andcontent. Make the trip. We have gone back several times since my review and i have not changed my opinion. They still get 5stars and i have to add...they have the BEST crab Rangoons i have ever had. Read more
