It's been a while since we've been back and it was better than ever! Great menu, great drinks, great service, great food and... great atmosphere. Really special food, perfectly prepared and presented. The cabbage and pear salad, the dumplings, the ribswere tremendous. Read more

Okko is a great Japanese restaurant we love it. We often take out but the problem is sometimes to take out communication is... difficult. I’d like to see that they can streamline their phone service so that when we call we can someone they answerwithout having to go through another alternative website. Life is getting more complicated but this should be a simplestraightforward event. But the food is excellent. This needs to be straightened out my opinion. Read more

The attitude of the staff was horrendous, we received food before receiving drinks, they forgot at least one item and when when... we asked about it at the end of the meal, we were told they would check on it and that was the last we heard. We received thewrong items (and wrong numbers of things) and nobody checks on you, nobody asks you if there is anything you need, etc. This isnothing like you’d expect for the amount you’re paying—not at all with the price. We’ve had much better sushi in otherlocal places. (With better food, better service, better cost.) Read more

Food is great but the service needs some serious help. First hung up on us on phone when making reservation, then the waiter was... pretty inattentive and messed up some of the order. Kitchen closing at 9:30 also seems a bit odd to me given how slow they work.Wish I could give a higher review Read more

I've been searching for quality sushi since moving to Connecticut. I came across Oko and came for the 14 dish omakase dinner .... This meal was so finely currated . Each server knew every detail of each plate, and every piece I had had delicate yet complexflavors. From the a5 wagu , sea bream, amberjack , otoro and so on. This crew is sourcing the best ingredients. Sure, it'sexpensive. The best food usually is . I can see myself becoming a regular here. Read more

So let me start, the ambience is at the side of the river with good light ambience. If you’re looking for something cheap, go... else where. So I had the Red Miso Grilled Octopus and the chef’s selection nigiri for appetizer. The red miso octopus isreally great!! I would recommend ordering two. The nigiri however is really overpriced. Now let’s move to the main dish, Iordered OKO Ramen Noodle that has lobster, black sesame and miyoga, it was okay~is but for $24? I think an Indo-mie is bettertogether with a boiled lobster on the side. The Hamachi Belly Poke however is good as well. I may have just ordered the wrongfood but nonetheless, this is not your everyday restaurant that you keep on coming back. Total bill was around $90.17 for 2appetizer and 2 entrés and a tea that has a very weak tea taste. Read more

A fantastic Japanese inspired Brian Lewis restaurant! Great food and drinks in a comfortable environment. The sushi is fresh... and flavorful with a great variety to choose from. The tempuras are the lightest and most flavorful I have eaten in a long time. The sakes are terrific as well. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly and accommodating. Read more
