Excellent I wish I lived closer to Westwood and be there every other day
Yeah. Not the biggest fan of this place. Won't be using them again. It's competent, red-sauce Italian. Good sticks-to-your-ribs... food if the whole order manages to go off without a hitch. But that hasn't happened recently. Last Thursday, my wife and Iordered 2 sandwiches (plus some fried ravioli). The order was placed online at 5:40 PM. Now, keeping in mind that thisrestaurant is walking distance from my house... I think it's a little shocking the sandwiches didn't show up until 9:15 PM.What's worse, it was all cold. Late food. Cold "hot" subs. Cold, soggy, fried ravioli. The screenshot I've attached to thisreview is from right before I called them. When I gave them a ring I said, "Hey... I'm checking in on order #218?" The responseI got back was, "Are you sure you don't mean order #281?" So I think it's safe to say they just lost track of my order. Notlong after being told they were just waiting on a driver to get back, I got a text from grub hub saying that my food shouldarrive at 7:05 PM (it was half past 8 by then). Later on, I received another message saying a different driver was bringing myfood. Then my wife and I got our cold sandwiches. The guy who delivered them just said, "Sorry about that" before turningaround and getting back in his car. I suppose he didn't really have a reason to care, since I already paid the tip ahead oftime. I like supporting my local pizza joints. But this place ain't it for me. Read more
Good quality I'm the food, sandwiches choice of regular or sesame seed bun, big plus. Take home dinners very good. Drawback... during week consumed with loud high schoolers, skip early afternoon. Otherwise solid b +. Read more
Love this restaurant. I wanted to give a shout out to Mia. The day I was there she was the order taker, bartender, food runner... and the cashier by herself. Did everything with grace and ease. Thank you again, your amazing. My go to favorite is their CobbSalad. Read more
The food is always fresh and very tasty. We love the Nephews Mess. Here is a picture of a 1/2 bucket.
Great atmosphere and Excellent food! Our first visit and we were very impressed!!
They've got killer fries, but their pizza is very hit and miss. Admittedly, Westwood Pizza makes a better Pizza, but Comella's... has more "options" that are usually a little bit better. Up to you where you wanna go, not a whole lot of difference. Read more
