Stopped by for takeout (they are not currently going dine in) and grabbed a chocolate mousse cake, citron tart, and chocolate... chip cookie. The chocolate mousse cake was excellent. The citron tart was okay?slightly soggy bottom crust and would havepreferred a custard with more zing. If you have a sweet tooth, then this is the spot to calm the craving! Ciel Dessert is an outstanding place for some heavenly... sweets. The beautiful display case of their menu gives you a nice insight of what is what. This small cozy place has a To-Gosection in the front and if you want to stay, the back room is perfect for a dessert date night. I ordered the Gluten-FreeChocolate Souffle which was accompanied with fresh whipped cream & vanilla ice cream. The warm smooth airy souffle had theperfect balance of chocolate. My hubby ordered the Pear Creme Brulee. He loved it! If you LOVE sweets, check out Chef Jane'sDessert Tastings. There is a 3 course & a 5 course. We will definitely go back for that experience. I had some of the most delicious, beautiful pastries from here this morning. Everything was so fresh, and each one was 350... calories or less. The staff were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I can?t recommend them enough. I?ll be back for more soon! Read more
