The food isn?t traditional northern Indian cuisine. Not sure who puts red kidney beans mixed with black dahl. I?ve been to... Indian restaurants all over the world and this is the one place I feel over charges a hefty amount where the food doesn?tdeliver. We tried this place for the first time today. Ordered 2 dishes, butter chicken and budhna gosht (lamb). The lamb dish was really... really delicious. Butter chicken was good too, although it was missing one or two of the spices? it wasn?t quite as tasty asbutter chicken we?ve had in other restaurants. Update: Apr 10, 2022 Buffet is BACK! We went to DD first time after the pandemic started, and were so happy to see they had... their buffet section back for weekends lunch. Their buffet items were top notch, everything tasted delicious. They had chickenbiryani, smashed egg plant, paneer tikka masala, fish, lamb , chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken. Items were cooked freshand kept warm. Really glad to see DD survived through the pandemic, and getting back to its old groove. Will a regular here towhenever I need to calm my Indian food desires. ?????????????????????- Great interior, wonderful service. Dishes are wellprepared. We went during lunchtime for buffet. Old dry rice. Ordered hot dishes, they came luke warm. Chicken in chicken masala was hard as a rock. Yogurt dish was nice to... drown out the bad taste. Would not come back or recommend. Read more

The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of each dish. I was excited that they have glutenfree meals (I have celiac) they were very attentive to my needs. Cannot wait to go back !
