One of the best Indian restaurants in the greater Hartford area. Been craving lamb tikka masala and dosas. We had tandoori... chicken, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and naan. Murgh Dhaniakhali was our granddaughter’s favorite. My only complaint isthat they automatically added 20% tip. I always tip 20% anyway unless it’s bad service. The food was AMAZING! The place is clean and sleek with nice, traditional Indian touches. The service was also excellent and... very professional. I had the Nilgiri Gosht spicy and my wife had the Tawa Tamancha with huge shrimp. We loved those and alsoenjoyed the Ragada Patties and Masala Chai tea (add a hint of sugar and it’s perfect). Great ambience and yummy food. Even though it is comparatively little pricey than other Indian restaurants, they have a detailed... and a different menu. I loved my chicken Hakka noodles and the veg & non-veg thali lunch were thoroughly enjoyed by my friends.The only thing they can work on is speedy service for which the answer is staff shortage. This is one of the best Indian restaurant in CT. They serve an authentic Indian food. Ambience is good and staff is friendly... here. Paneer khurchan, butter chicken, lasuni gobhi, chicken biryani, chilli garlic naan, rasmalai are some of our favoritedishes. I just feel that menu is quite expensive. Read more

We went here after a long time as this was a little pricy restaurant but the food was good even the last time.They have... apparently changed their menu. The lunch menu has good portion size and its totally worth the money. The lunch Thali comeswith two curries, rice, roti/Naan, soup/salad, dessert and a curry of your choice! We had the palak paneer, Malai kofta,chicken Tikka and amma's fish gravy and all of them were good. The soup and dessert was also great! For starters we got themeat platter which was the perfect portion size for two and it tasted great! We were happy with our food and service andtotally worth this second visit! Read more
