Very disappointed with delivery orders. Each time I give a chance, they prove that service has gone downhill. Orders are... consistently made wrong even with clear, uncomplicated instructions. Items are missing other times. Most recently, I orderedpasta without marinara as I cannot have that kind of sauce. It very specifically states what kind of sauce I choose for onlineordering as ?white sauce? is an option, and the delivery slip from Village even stated it clear as day. It arrived covered inmarinara and I was unable to eat it. Third time this has happened in the last few months alone when I?ve ordered that particularmeal. Eventually you realize there?s no point in calling to complain. Service is hit or miss. Later in the evening when it?sbusier?definitely a place to skip. Service shouldn?t go downhill just because it?s a busier evening and there isn?t a customerthere in person to complain if something is made incorrectly. Full disclosure: I've been coming here since I was a little kid, so I might be a little biased, but who isn't? ;) Village is a... great little neighborhood restaurant. Excellent pizza in their own unique style, entrees, and desserts. Friendly table andcounter service. Easy delivery makes it a go-to choice for our household on those evenings when nobody has time to cook. TL;DR:I love this place. Highly recommended. Read more
I honestly do not get the hype. The owners are ?nice? to your face but if you have a complaint about a delivery, over the phone... it?s completely different. Prices are high for even simple things like a simple salad. They throw some croutons and cheese onand give you a pack of Kens dressing and charge you and arm and a leg for a salad. Delivery is sub par and the few times I?veused them items are either missing or made incorrectly. Read more
We found this place open on a Sunday morning on our way home from Maine. Great menu made it hard to decide. I had the eggplant... grinder with no cheese. He had the chicken cutlet grinder. The server offered extra sauce without me having to ask. The frieswere great! Overall, a very pleasant visit. Read more
The Wethersfield area has a ton of great local pizza joints but I think Village is the best one. They have a ton of items on the... menu and a great selection of pies. I love the taste of crust and fresh ingredients. It?s also a great place for gyros andsandwiches. If you?re in the area, definitely worth taking checking out. Read more
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL PIZZA Been going here since I was a wee little lad and it hasn't changed at all. In the best way possible... even with covid they are all friendly helpful and always an amazing time. Food is amazing the little ones loved it. Love beingback in the area to enjoy a FAMOUS village pizza with meatballs! Also best BBQ chicken pizza out of any I have had. Comes withgreen and red peppers with onions and breaded chicken and bbq sauce. Go get you some support the local area!! Read more
I absolutely loved it here. A small, 8 slice pizza was the perfect size at an incredibly affordable price to feed myself and the... two others in my group. Outdoor seating was available and the indoor seating was widely spaced out. The lady who served us wasphenomenal, very kind, answered our questions about the menu and made helpful suggestions.
