My husband, Don Harris, was insulted by the owner today as he was paying for his order. Don had on an Auburn shirt and the owner... (Scott) insinuated that Don would not need their plastic utensils because AU fans eat with their hands. Don could have repliedwith a stupid remark of his own but he does not engage in replying to stupid remarks from so called UA fans. Was sadly disappointed after the recommendations I had received from others. Had the pork plate, beans and fries with a side of... camp stew. Pork didn?t have a smokey taste and was a little rubbery. Sauce was ok. Beans tasted like they were right out of thecan with a little bbq thrown in. Fries were ok. Biggest disappointment was camp stew. I had the rib plate w sauce on the side. My 2 sides were baked beans and cole slaw. I enjoyed it very much even without the... sauce on it. The sauce had a good flavor so it would be good either way. The baked beans have smoked pork pieces in them. Slawwas good too. My aunt ordered catfish dinner and the fish was freshly fried when ordered. Great BBQ sandwich and good tea. We got the Banana Pudding for desert and it was good too. Last time we ate there it was not... busy and someone brought the food to the table. Absolutely phenomenal barbeque! The meats and sides were cooked to perfection and the homemade sauce is like no other.
