Had a wonderful experience here at Our Place Cafe! I had the ribeye and my husband had the filt mignon, and we heavily enjoyed... it! Very pricey but so delicious. The vegetables were cooked so well, lightly seasoned. The steaks were both so tender, juicyand flavorful. The baked potatoe is wonderful with butter snd seasonings! And something so funny, we saw Channing Tatum!Definitely a huge surprise, but he is from Alabama and has family in the Wetumpka area so that made an interesting topic for ourdinner ???? The manager came over and talked with us and made sure that we enjoyed our meal and that was such a nice personaltouch. The scenery, dim lights and wonderful music made this a night to remember! OMG...I just had the best filet in the world!!! This steak was cooked to perfection...melts in your mouth! Chris was such a... great waiter! This is one of our favorite local places. If you've never been you MUST go! Best to have a reservation...SOOOworth the visit! Read more
We had high expectations going and they were not met. My husband had the blackened catfish, which appeared to be one fish. I had... the shrimp thermidor, it was very salty and had tiny shrimp. Was definitely not $30. It would have cost maybe $7 to make for afamily of 4. The salad was great with balsamic vinaigrette, but if you preferred a Caesar salad, well that is $3 extra, forwhat???! Ambience was awesome, parking was limited, menu is the same as it's been forever, upscale prices, I did not care for either... soups they had, steak and shrimp was awesome. And since it was my birthday celebration we all got desserts. The keylime pietaste like it was out of a Box and the bread pudding was great. Read more
They were completely booked out with reservations this weekend due to only having three servers. They were nice enough to take... our order over the phone and allow for pick up! The lady on the phone was so kind. We got the fried green tomatoes appetizer,crab cake, steak, and shrimp dianne. The food was good, but I think that transporting it home softened the food unintentionally.Can't wait to try it in person another time! Read more
As always, Our Place Cafe delivers fabulous food. If you want the best steak ever, this is the place to go! The crab cakes are... phenomenal too. We always go out to eat after closing on a home, and we went to Our Place this time. This is my favoritebirthday destination too! Read more
The atmosphere is great. A nice fancy place without being to fancy. We had crab claws and fried green tomatoes to start with. ... I followed up with a delicious filet and my wife had the penne pasta with shrimp and crab. The prices are a tad high, but heyeverything has gone up in price these days. Definitely would recommend to stop and try. Read more
