First time getting food here and we are so happy we did! when we picked up the food the family was so very nice. food was... delicious and fresh! the cold sesame noodles are my new favorite. Absolute AWFUL experience and TERRIBLE customer service. We placed an order at 6:00pm on Christmas Eve, and we?re told a 50... minute wait. At 6:50 we left to pick up our food and was told that it would be another 30 minutes. I stood out in the freezingcold for almost another 50 minutes! No offer to bring the food to my car, I had to wait outside until they called my ordernumber. I tried calling multiple time, and no answer. It was absolutely ridiculous, if I was told it would have been an almost 2hour wait, I would have gone somewhere else. Know when too many orders is too many. Read more

I have been a frequent customer at China Palace for the past 15 years. However, my family and I will no longer be customers... after our terrible experience there tonight. (Their food quality has declined tremendously since the new ownership a few yearsago.) We ordered takeout as usual and I was extremely disappointed when I tried the food. The beef was so chewy and tough, Iwas not even able to take a bite! Everything else was swimming in sauce and soggy. (I have never had such bad Chinese food.) Idecided to take the food back to China Palace and ask for a refund. The hostess (who was extremely rude) would not issue me arefund. Instead, she kept telling me, "The owner will call you tomorrow." I proceeded to ask why she would not give me a refund,but she could not give me a straight answer. Apparently there wasn't a manager on the premises, so I decided to leave, andhopefully get in contact with the owner tomorrow so this can be resolved. I highly recommend Ichiban for dine in or carry out,just down the street and so much better! Read more
I had to go here alone, because my gorgeous wife was in NYC at an engagement party, and went to 3 restaurants there with... one-star Guide Michelin. China Palace is pretty far away from any number of stars on the Guide Michelin scale. It gets 4 MartinStars. Which is probably a little bit too highly rated. I had lemon chicken. Breaded chicken - I think deep fried. The lemonsauce was very sweet. Too sweet. Not good for my new no-added sugar diet. But good for a short-lived sugar high - which made CNNpretty enjoyable (impeachment talk never sounded this fun before). Read more
Really good Chinese food. Almost anything here is good. Definitely check out the sushi!
Food is ok, definitely fresher than the usual greasy spoons. Prices are high and portions are smaller, not bad - not great... either. Read more
