My first time - noon on a Monday. The sign outside says to checkin with hostess for all seating. It doesn't say what to do... when there is no hostess. So I waited and waited. The only server I saw finally got to me. Seems he is bartender and serverfor everyone, can that be correct? So I sat at the bar - which needed cleaning. I ordered the lunch combo - cheese burger anda bowl of beef noodle soup. I was served the soup with a dirty spoon. The burger was basic - lettuce, tomato, shredded cheeseand ketchup on the side. Raspberry ice tea to finish. Everything but the ice tea was greasy. I would not recommend either. Note to manager: if you serve greasy food, stick with paper napkins. Looking at other plates I would try a flat bread, if thereis a next time. Read more

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here. The process of reserving a private room was easy, and communication was excellent. The... food was amazing, especially the tomato basil chicken with gnocchi and the roasted brussel sprouts. Our servers were attentiveand friendly, and everyone had a great time! Have been here twice and so far each time has exceeded my expectations! The menu has a lot of options to choose from including... healthy choices as well, portions are decent at the price point, and the food has been great both times we've been here. Servicehas been excellent as well both times with front staff being friendly and seating us quickly to our waitress beingknowledgeable, efficient and accommodating. The one criticism I would have for the most recent visit was that my food didn'tcome out super hot. I ordered crab stuffed cod with mashed and veggies and the veggies and mashed were barely lukewarm. Otherthan that though I really have nothing negative to say about either of our visits. We will definitely be back again. Read more

Went for dinner on a slow Sunday evening, just this past weekend. The restaurant seemed understaffed, so we decided to be... forgiving. The two of us ordered bloody Mary’s, which came out within ten minutes. Before those came to the table, we hadplaced our appetizer and dinner order. About 30 minutes goes by before receiving our appetizer and about 20 or so minutes beforeour main course was received. At no point did the waitress or any management staff acknowledge any delays they were having.After finally recovering our food, we were extremely disappointed in the quality. Both dishes featured a salmon fillet thatappeared to have come from the freezer section at Aldi’s. One was on a BLT, so naturally it shouldn’t be hot, but not evenwarm. The other was in a grain bowl style dish and each ingredient was cold. Not to seem like I’m exaggerating, but that’s100% accurate. Also, there looked to be no effort in putting that dish together. Kind of pathetic. Icing on the cake is that onedish was $20 and the other was $19. A gift card wouldn’t even be able to take me back to this restaurant. Read more

I have been to Walnut Grill after making reservations well in advance twice for holidays (Thanksgiving 2021, and Father's Day... 2022) and both times, we were seated but it took the waiter nearly 15 minutes to greet the table and take beverage requests.After placing food orders (many of the menu items for the holiday were not available) and both times it took nearly 45 minutesfor the food to arrive after placing an order. The staff did not make a typical return to the table to check on everything andpaying the check took an uncomfortable 20 minutes after we were clearly done with meals and waiting on the staff to return. Iwould like to say that I would give Walnut Grill another chance, but so far it seems that if the quality of service is that badon a special occasion, I cannot imagine how much worse it could be when they do not have a number of reservations to plan toprovide service for. The only thing I can say that was good about both times was that the food that we were able to ordertasted good and we enjoyed it even though our preferred menu requests were sold out on Thanksgiving. Came for lunch, a reservation for 13. We were seated upon arrival. Our waitress was Abby she was absolutely lovely as was... Madison who assisted. We started our order and found out they only do separate checks up to ten people but they bent the rulesfor us which was appreciated because it would have been a nightmare. We had a little wait for our food which is to be expectedwith such a large order. Our food came out all together, (they now have little robots to carry out the food which wasentertaining). I ordered the Wild Mushroom Chicken. What came out was two large chicken breasts lightly breaded, so tender youcould cut with a fork, topped with a wild mushroom cream sauce. Phenomenal is an understatement when it comes to this meal! Somuch flavor in a dish! My sides were mashed potatoes with the skins, not stiff like a lot of other places, they were nice andcreamy. My food was plated beautifully my pics are what we brought home. My hubby and friends ordered the Tuscan Chicken, pulledpork and Chicken and Brie Quesadillas. All raved about their food. The restaurant has ample parking, outdoor seating and a verycomfortable atmosphere. The restaurant and facilities are very clean and they were very accommodating to a member of our partywho was handicapped. I will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend this restaurant! I hosted retirement dinner my experience was awesome! Erica and Jodie made sure every detail was spot on. They helped me plan... the event with ever changing details ,they are very patient. Offered great advice to make everything seamless. The buffetfresh, hot and plenty of food nice variety. Drew and Amanda our servers at our beckon call, with smiles on the entire time.Loved the upbeat decor of our party room. All their hard work so appreciated. Read more
