I love the "feel" of this place. The decor is perfection- intimate coffee shop with a sense of warmth, from the cozy seating... to the chalk board menus. It's a nice break from the chains that pop up everywhere. From what I've tried so far, both the fooditems and coffee are good. Tasty sounding menu, some original combinations, etc. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars wouldbe on my last two visits, there was a distinct lack of friendliness from whomever waited on us at the counter. No smiles, nohow ya doin today...just very cut and dry. They seemed slightly impatient/busy even though the place was fairly empty. Nothingovertly rude, just...meh. My order of two hot coffees took about 10 minutes to receive, and there were 4 employees behind thecounter. Not a huge deal- for good coffee I'll wait. It just seemed odd- we thought they had forgotten about us for a minute.Overall I will definitely go back, its still a cute spot for a Sat or Sun brunch, as their menu has some great food options forthe area. An improvement in the staff-customer engagement would definitely boost this place into the 5 star realm. Read more

Great tasting smoothie combinations! If you are looking for a light and healthy meal, this is the place to go.

This was my second visit. Both times, the food has been great. I LOVED the flavor of the Morning Date smoothie, it was just a... little thick to drink with a straw, but I would not let that deter you from getting it. The medium was the right size, filling,but not too much. I got the jalapeno infused bacon breakfast wrap this morning, which was amazing. You definitely get a littlekick of spice from the bacon. The wrap is on the smaller side. I was happy I also got a small juice (the Sunrise, verytasty). The service here is friendly/fast. There has only been 1 or 2 people in line with a few people sitting down eatingboth times I went during normal breakfast hours. There is a cute little outdoor area to sit too, when the weather is nice! Theonly negatives I have are that it was hard to find the straws (or they just hadn't restocked them), and they don't have utensilsout, which you'd need if you got a salad/bowl or your sandwich comes with greens. Also, while I really like the musicselection, it is a bit loud. It didn't bother me because I was snacking alone, but if you went with other people, you wouldn'tbe able to have a conversation. First time in, the aesthetic was light and airy yet comfortable and minimal. It was fairly busy when I was there, lots of to go... orders. However, a friendly suggestion is that even if it's busy if someone orders something small/simple like a coffee, it goesa long way to get it in their hands quickly. I waited between 5 & 7 minutes for a small hot coffee with coconut milk, and Ididn't mind waiting, but sometimes small things like that make a big difference. Read more
