Wondering how they can mess up something as basic as Chai. It's a shame that Dunkins has better Chai than this 'indian' cuisine... place. And the other dishes are worse, they lack the authentic taste and essence of Indian cuisine. The samosa stuffing was justmashed potatoes with turmeric. This is but far the best Indian cuisine in our region. The customer service is exceptional, they deliver, and the food is on-par... with their Best of Boston competitors. The kitchen is fast, the aromas are great, and you always leave with leftovers. Saucesare traditional and authentic, no bulk preparations or premixed packets here. One of the Gems!! Read more
To start with, the place was not crowded at all. The ambiance was okay. We order a non-veg platter along with chicken and mutton... curries, but all of em were remotely authentic. The taste of the non- veg platter was ok. Mutton Rogan Josh was full of tomatopaste with no flavor and the chicken was not at all up to the basic standard. All in all, the food looks good tastes bad. My god. Literally the BEST! Indian food I've had. The chicken naan bread, and the garlic naan were unreal. The chicken tikka... was....my good. Out of this world good. The Mango chick taj was just as good. Start With the mango lassi. Have 2 during yourmeal. And maybe make one of them your dessert! Ha ha ha. Can't wait to go back. Going to try out the buffet. Visited Taj Modern Indian Cuisine today for lunch and took home some takeout. Excellent service and the most delicious food! ... Their Naan bread offerings are fantastic - I went with the Chicken Naan and highly recommend it! I also ordered Basmati Rice,extra Naan bread, and Gulab Jamun.
