My wife and I have always driven by this place when visiting grandpa. The night we all go for family night, were expecting some... great quality food. We were wrong. The food wasn't living up to the hype as we thought. The food didn't taste flavorful to us,the guacamole was basic, kids enjoyed the salsa, which is about it. Carnitas burrito didn't stand out to me. Meat tasted dry, hardly any flavoring to it, had to mix it with the salsa to add flavor to it. My wife couldn't enjoy her chicken and steakfajitas. The meats didn't taste like they were seasoned, rice was overcooked, beans tasted undercooked and watery. We willrethink about giving this place another chance. Once we make up our minds about not returning, we keep our word. Read more

We ordered the strawberry lemonade and the strawberries had definitely been sitting awhile. I ordered the ultimate burrito with... chicken and it tasted like someone dropped the salt dispenser into the food. First time returning my food at a restaurant.Messed up my birthday lunch and was too nauseous to eat anywhere else. Unfortunate, because it looked like a nice place. Read more

We typically avoid national chain restaurants because of the obvious - food you can get anywhere, uninspired tastes, etc. Uncle... Julio and Hacienda Colorado merged to create this restaurant and the menu is a hybrid of the two concepts. I ordered the Steak& Enchilada Dinner (carne asada, sautéed veggies, Cotija and two cheese and onion enchiladas) my wife had the Carnitas Fajitaswhich come with a honey Chipotle glaze. The free chips and salsa are very good. The chips are very light and the salsa isdelicious with no heat. The skirt steak was tender and the enchiladas are cheesy and good. It came with rice and black beans. Wethought the honey chipotle glaze is way too sweet and did not taste good. Our very good and attentive waiter Mike took care ofus though. He brought a to-go serving without the glaze. Overall, there are better options in Denver metro that are just astasty or tastier and much cheaper. Read more

Great food at this establishment! Would’ve given 5-stars but mi wife’s order was wrong and she didn’t get her food until... the rest of us were finished. They struggle with their systems and efficiency, but with a little more training from managementthis will be a 5star restaurant. Read more

We are visiting from out of town and after trying to find 3 other Mexican Restaurants in the area we discovered this jewel. This... restaurant is very nice and has a great vibe. All the ingredients are made fresh in house. We ordered a few different thingsamong our group. The carnita enchiladas, a house colorado gold margarita, and my wife had the chicken fajitas with fresh madetortillas. Another person in our party ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. Everyone was very satisfied and we had a great lunch! Read more

We ate here for lunch on Monday. The food was delicious I had the Guadalajara that had grilled bacon wrapped shrimp, grilled... chicken, and grilled Steak. It also came with grilled bell peppers, onions, guacamole and sour cream. And also fresh madetortillas.. The staff was friendly and professional and the place was clean, and in a good location. I would highly recommendthis restaurant. Read more

Great place for Mexican food, the atmosphere is great, my server was nice and provided everything we needed. The food could use... some work at least the enchiladas the cheese was too hard for my preference. Everything else including drinks were top notch. Read more
