Great restaurant in renovated part of town. Moderate menu with big bar and good wine selections. Steaks, seafood and more bar... fare type apps are quite good. Big difference here is the experience. A friend invited me for a belated birthday dinner, James (our server) was so attentive - his greeting was "Happy Birthday!" He... was friendly, kind and definitely made the the dining experience better. The food was delicious! A great new take on the classic"Deviled Eggs", delicious entrée and desserts - plus they went above and beyond with a birthday gift and a card signed by thestaff. Ditka’s Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in Wheaton. It’s a very classy place where you can spend $50+ on a steak... but they also have great choices for much less. This night we are on the patio and it was perfect weather for it. Our serverwas kinda quirky, not altogether in a good way, but efficient and attentive nonetheless. I had a delicious, perfect medium rareburger and my wife had a very good Southwest chicken salad. Read more
Just had an amazing experience at the new Ditkas grill in Wheaton . The bartender Scott totally took care of us making sure the... steaks were the perfect temperature we wanted . The manager Johnny went out of his way to bring the chef out introduce us andmake sure our first dining experience met our expectations . A great addition to Wheaton! The food, staff, and service is fantastic. A terrific wine list to compliment the food as well.
To start off, our Server Jason was incredible. He was personable and very knowledgeable. Food was spot on. My pork chop was... perfectly cooked, very juicy. You have to try the bread and the deviled eggs. My wife got the jumbo shrimp fried rice and ravedabout it, but warning it is very spicy. The flourless chocolate cake was a perfect ending to the meal.
